I like the way you sum up Jax. You will most likely outscale. You can sit back and farm up. If you want to play agressive you have to know specifics for each match up and go for risky plays. If you fall behind you're done for
Camille and Fiora are very good skill matchups where the better player wins it. Im good at all 3 with a million on Camille. Fiora looses if jax plays around her W and dogdes vitals. Camille wins with grasp early game but wiffing her E kills her
Tbh i think his video has alot more to it than it sounds like. Just that summarizing it makes it sound easy. But awesome video and i enjoyed it. Cheers
Im Jax main, and its so fckin true :D It's moustly cause if you lose first fights as Jax its very hard to get back to the lane/game, basically if you lose lane you mean nothing later. But I love that champion and its gameplay anyway :D
Its exacly opposite i destroy my oponents mo matter what they play. I Lost only once against yorick but that was my foult couse I went to kill him under turret when he was ultra low but I didnt have mana for Q
Jax' lvl 6 powerspike is huge, getting lots of resistances on active and the R passive is so good for trading combined with sheen proc. As Jax u almost always win the short trades cuz of sheen proc with third auto attack R passive dmg.
For the fio matchup I usually just take bramble vest and just out damage her through auto attacks and w's while hiding my vitals and I only e after she parries.
sometimes i recommend making points into Q instead of W, and use W only for refreshing auto. Especially with Jayce match ups, you want to jump on Jayce, bait him using e, then you go for next q and all in. The more points in Q you have - more dmg and less cooldowns. I do that with ranged champions (Teemo, Queen, Jayce, even GP)
Honestly, it is not necessary to max Q since the CD is really short, thanks to the buffs a while ago. Max E is way better now, in second I mean of course. You lack a lot of damage by maxing Q first or even more by maxing E. W is really the best no matter what.
@@alexandrereynaud7884 non maxed q have 6 seconds cd, cd shorter per point = 0.5 could be critical if you want play more aggro, especially Jayce don't want short trades, mostly he just pulling you back after leap (sometimes they keep holding his E for counter your E), well try first, then i want to see your comment. Best regards.
wicked you are probably the most reliable font for toplane info on youtube, but i dont agree with this guide. You make jax look like he is totally garbage even in matchups where he wins/ is fine, like camille, how is it hard? You can dodge W, parry Q and interrupt E pretty easily, and aa wise you have 10x damage, how do you rate this matchup difficult for jax?
Im actually learning toplane and I believe I know the basic wave fundamentals but I suck at matchups coz thats experience dependent. I chose to main jax coz he is simple but quite flexible and i have a tendency to go even in lane so I need a good scaler. These matchup tips will definitely help me. So far i’m doing great punishing cds but suck at baiting abilities.
@@wickdlol hi sir, quick question. im checking out your twitch the past videos dont have audio. is that intended? like subs privilege or something? just curious.
Snowball in that context means he will utilize the small lead to get a really big lead. If Shen gets ahead of Jax it's extremely difficult, and there's a high chance that he can keep killing you.
Tank = more survavibility = easier scaling. You'll still deal damages because of the high base damages per second of Jax W and R. Once you've scaled, you are Jax, you win.
Hi, would you still build bamis into Urgot and Wukong? Or is that strategy somewhat outdated? Also do you have a video/guide explaining when to take lethal and when conq?
@@Ibra.shalaby Jax vs Fiora is actually a pretty even skill matchup. And Jax just straight up demolishes Camille even early game. A good Jax will never let Camille get off her true damage from her Q with his counterstrike
What about Rene? Its often picked in my low elo against my Jax and is really hard to win if the rene is good. Obviously you outscale him and want to block the W but good Renes won't fall for that. Maybe just chill and build Tank items first?
So... basically you play around cooldowns and you opponents mistakes to make Jax work. I don't see this working against player that actually want to win though. By how you're explaining him it seems he cannot really do anything in lane versus passive opponents that know his power.
The entire game is based off of mistakes. Absolutely nobody can play perfectly. And also if an opponent is passive against Jax, just remember he is one of the best scaling champs in the game. Push waves, help jungle, roam mid, TP bot, plenty of options against passive players.
@@iUseDemFrapz lol no, you can dodge her w heal with your q, you can dodge her e stun with your q and you can dodge her q with your e lmao its jax favored by a long shot, if you lose lane agaisnt camille, your bad as jax lmao
@@nloadergd9193 Camille won't ever W unless your Q is down or if the wave is in a good position. If you Q onto her in that situation she auto wins the trade with an AA-Q-Q with her passive up. If you E her Q1 she just E's the wall and chunks you with E2-Q2 after your dodge ends. If you don't E her Q1 you just lose the trade since she gets 3 Autos off while you just hit her shield. It gets harder for Camille at 6 but the matchup isn't unwinnnable. Especially if she takes Grasp (which most of them do). You outscale her of course so there's no reason to play for kills unless she's not very good (which is probably true in lower ranks). Most lower ranked Camille's don't play around their passive and E cd very well so... Yeah. Jax is much more idiot proof.
Also Good Camille's will hug the wall vs Jax so they can get a quick stun off and make it really hard for Jax to cancel their E. A good Jax will cancel Camille's E1 if she's a distance from the wall with their own stun. That's almost impossible to do if she's hugging the wall.
