SECRET LIFE: Episode 4 - Confusing Everyone 

I love how Etho intentionally does weird things to confuse everyone on what task he's doing while mumbo is already inherently weird that he makes it seem like he's doing tasks unintentionally.

"you win 8 baked potatoes" proceeds to give 7 baked potatoes, mumbo you need to take incentive and get that 1 baked potato you deserve

Mumbo turning around and realising Grian was also riding a horse and keeping pace with him... simply incredible

Mumbo was an absolute genius in this episode. He made everyone, every single person believe his task was something else. He was like a method actor, he made a fake task and then did the fake task

Secret life really does add another layer of value to watching multiple POVs, I remember thinking how weird it was for Mumbo to suddenly react to Grian’s singing with such terror in his episode and now watching this one I know why!

Watching this knowing Tango's task is the funniest thing, it's actually nutty how much Mumbo moves about.

I love how Mumbo’s love of cars and racing came through in him just making everyone horse race around the server 😂😂

I just realized that Mumbo’s horse wasn’t fast, everyone else was really slow. Best give those spuds to Scar.

I love how every single task leads to them acting very very strange, and doing odd things that aren't related to their task at all.

Mumbo's happy squeals in this episode are everything!

I like how Mumbo, trying to avoid weird interactions derived from fleeing from 1 on 1 talks, avoided 1 on 1 talks preemptively, making this a very acurate social anxiety simulator.

I have never heard Mumbo laugh as MANIACALLY as he did in this episode lol

Mumbo’s task + someone else getting “be Mumbo’s personal butler” task Would have been an interesting combo

I'm glad that the metagame immediately evolved to "do a few extra weird, chaotic things to fool everyone else"

Mumbo’s perspectives always make me think a “don’t laugh” task would be near impossible to complete for really anyone in the liver squad.

If you thought the soundtrack from 13:51 was familiar but forgot where it was from, it was from S8 Ep 14 of HermitCraft. Mumbo sure did have a fast "horse" last season.

I love how in this series if you were to only ever watch one person perspective you would just think everyone else was going insane

The laughter at Martyn’s and Jimmy’s demise was everything I never knew I always wanted

Mumbo just reached a breaking point with scar. First he kept losing hearts, now he’s weird.

The comeback of the horse drift music is amazing. I am loving the editing that mumbo is doing in his videos now!

Martyn focusing on Scar while Grian focused on Mumbo, and then the two pairs crashing into each other while all are getting excited/panicky for different reasons is definitely what's pushing this season to the top of my favorites. So many fantastic interactions and dynamics that would never come about from their normal personalities.

Every time I think this season can't get any weirder then we've got things like one-man musicals, a single person committed to it being opposite day and Mumbo scared of one on one confrontations, and no one realises.

It's clear that you genuinely enjoyed making this episode and that makes me happy

This task was amazing, It was ever-present but hard enough to keep the yellows guessing. Honestly BigB and Bdubs really aided you by getting you on a horse :D I loved all this.

This has been the most hilarious one so far. Just confusing everyone got me legitimately laughing out loud

Regular Task: Use a dispenser to equip a helmet on someone without them noticing, then ask why they have a helmet on in a Life series. I had it as hard originally, make it whichever yall think fits 😭

I love how mumbo is both the hardest to mimic for Tango, but the most oblivious to being copied by him.

Grian randomly coming in belting out his greeting is one of the funniest things from this series

Secret life is such a vibe. I don't think I've enjoyed a life series this much since last life. I really love the weirdness of this series!

i love watching gem's perspective first, because it didn't even seem like mumbo was running away from her to me. seemed more like he genuinely fell and just left in a jokingly embarrassed huff. really gives an outside view of how difficult it really was for people to tell what mumbo was up to XD

This may be the funniest single task of the season so far. The way you would flee if ever alone with somebody was just peak comedy. Especially when you tripped and fell because Gem complimented your tree.

21:02 Now I want zombie horses to turn into drowned horses after being underwater for long enough. Slightly _(I mean SLIGHTLY, we aren't talking strider levels of slow here)_ more sluggish on land, but you can properly ride them underwater without getting kicked off. And putting a skeleton horse in powdered snow will turn them into stray horses, which is the same slowed thing as zombie horses but instead of being able to swim, they have built-in frost walker.

Task Suggestion: You can never be the one to terminate an interaction. Give it to two people in the same session for extra evils.

Watching mumbo and grain on a friday afternoon is bliss

The beauty of this task is that it's already natural to flee in terror when you see a yellow name :')

Wow, the mounders are looking really good so far! As of the start of next session: Bdubs is green, has FULL hearts, 26 xp levels and enough diamonds to start using them Pearl has 15 hearts but *56* xp levels, which means *9* max level enchantment attempts before she goes below 30, she will be completely geared out within the first few minutes. Mumbo is also green with 14 hearts, is more geared than most so far, and will now have access to a full enchanting set up as well (i assume). Even Joel isnt in bad shape. Hes got enchanted diamond gear (so he doesn't have to go to the death mines for a while) and hes still got 20 hearts.

Task idea: get Etho to answer 5 Naruto related questions. When you're done, drop a log in front of him, yell out "substitution jutsu!", then run away.

Task idea: Empty out your entire inventory, only hold and use items that you borrow or steal from other players for the whole session. You may only keep the book

At 4:28 gotta love the enderman that just steals a block from the mound

I've been waiting for Mumbo's POV to drop because I was completely losing my mind trying to figure out what he was doing in other POVs

TASK SUGGESTION: (The Unwanted Wardrobe Upgrade) Get 3 people to wear a piece of curse of binding leather armor through whatever means necessary, you can trick them into putting it on or use a hidden dispenser, whatever works.

3 task ideas: Find a way to be scared of anything and everything going on constantly afraid you will take damage and die Become extremely generous and constantly give people gifts until atleast 3 people go insane and refuse to accept gifts Make a group of people to talk about 1 subject on atleast 3 different occasions (prefferably if the group is mostly the same people)

Hard Task Idea: Spend the rest of the episode inside the nether. You die or leave, you fail

When I first saw that horse race in Tango's episode, I immediatly thought about that "Level Up" song Jono made for you during Hermitcraft S8. I'm SO GLAD you used it in your video ! This was awesome.

The return of AHAs, Fast and furry horse with the awesome music!! What an episode! Ohhhhhh I LOVE how much Mumbo messed yellows up! That was sooo fun.

*33:30* This has to be one of my favorite (And the most underrated) visual gags of the entire series, the way it extremely silently cuts to Mumbo grabbing the zombie horse egg with a very silent devious chuckle and then immediately cuts to Martyn angrily screaming ''WHERE DID YOU PULL THAT ONE FROM?!'' with him having not the slightest clue but the Audience knowing every bit just because of that one frame... It's phenomenal yet subtle editing and a real sign of Mumbo's filmmaking and editing skill.

This episode made me laugh SO much, just everyone trying to guess mumbos task and thinking it was horse related was just hysterical

When Mumbo and Scar were in the same location “What’s going on with you!” Was so funny because they had the most confusing tasks

Task idea (probably a hard one, considering the prep work): Put a glowstone block in five people's bases without any one of them calling you out. If they do, you fail.

Secret / Task Idea: Randomly disconnect from the server at least twice while in at least 3 different conversations.

At 36:47 I lost it. 😂That interaction was full on monty python! Good job with the task mumbo. In the past you've given off the vibe that you don't like silly games and so on. But honestly, silliness is your bread and butter. You're hilarious and I love it.

Wow mumbo is really starting to figure this out, hes ending with more hearts than he started with, he really did great with that horse distraction, and hes not even CLOSE to the first yellow. Actually hes lasted past 2 people turning RED. Itll be interesting to see how it goes when PVP starts though. Im assuming based on the hints theyve dropped that red names could get tasks involving violence right?

Idea: Put a hole in the ground beside your base, so it looks like the ground got picked up and set back down on its side.

Task Suggestion: Like a poet. Every interaction you have, you need to rhyme everything you say for the rest of the session.

I love how that Enderman just strolled over in the background, stole a block of dirt from Bdubs' base, hung out there for a while with it, and then kept periodically showing up in other parts of the video, like it was flexing. That was that Enderman's task for the day.

tango having to be around mumbo to do his task but mumbo leaving tango whenever they are alone is hilarious to me

Task Idea: Call at least 3 people "King" or "Queen" without anyone getting suspicious
