Spicy Hakka Noodles | Sam's Hakka Noodles 🍜🌶️🥢
Ingredients:
- Sam's Hakka Noodles: 200 grams (or as per package instructions)
- Sam's Taste Maker: 1 packet
- Green Chilli Sauce: 1-2 tablespoons
- Red Chilli Sauce: 1-2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: to taste
- White Vinegar: 1 tablespoon
- Boiled Noodles Water: 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 4-5 cloves, finely chopped
- Onion: 1 medium, sliced long
- Choice of Vegetables: (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, beans), sliced or julienned
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
2. Add Sam's Hakka Noodles and cook until al dente.
3. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 tablespoon of the boiled noodles water.
4. Mix together Sam's Taste Maker, green chilli sauce, red chilli sauce, soy sauce, salt, white vinegar, and reserved boiled noodles water.
5. Stir well and set aside.
6. Now, heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok.
7. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
8. Add onion and sauté until translucent.
9. Add vegetables and stir-fry until tender but crisp.
10. Pour the sauce into the pan and mix well.
11. Add the boiled noodles and toss until evenly coated.
12. Cover and let sit for 10 minutes to meld flavors.
Tips:
- Adjust chilli sauces based on spice preference.
- Add tofu, paneer, or scrambled eggs for variation.
- Garnish with spring onions, sesame seeds, or cilantro.
