Big thanks to Nerrel who mentioned me in his recent review of the Secret of Mana remake! Check it out here if you haven't seen it yet: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ur78f36rzm0.html
Square screwed up big time when they didn't do this for the Mana remake: A faithful recreation of the original soundtrack with real instruments. They should have just hired you.
Sega was smart enough (for once) to hire Tee Lopes for the remixes for Sonic Mania, Square should have done the same with Andrew. It's no use doing subpar inhouse remixes when you have fans that are so dedicated and skilled.
The flood of nostalgia is beautiful when I close my eyes, I can see all the stuff I was doing when I played this game. Things I haven't thought of since at least 1998 come back to me. A lot of the music you do is from the only games I bought as a kid. You really do pick the good ones! Thanks.
You have rocks star status in my mind just because of these SOM videos. Absolutely legendary stuff. You really captured the spirit of the game in a way I would've never expected. Bravo!
absolutely masterful , this soundtrack even 25 years later still gives me goosebumps and brings a tear to my eye.. and you sir have done this a great service, this was obviously created with love and passion
Wonderfull music, it makes me feel like I am a child again playing my first and forever favorite game. If possible could please cover the song ''The little Sprite'' it is the one playing after you saved the Dessert Village.
Stellar performance! I also checked out the linked video about the Mana games remakes, which in itself was a good viewing, but that shout out you got was seriously on point and well deserved. You definitely deserve more time in the spotlight for your work.
The fact that this channel only has 6.6k subs is disturbing. Anyway, Awesome, as always. I have a mariopaint of this song on my other channel. This game's music is loaded with memory triggers for me. Good stuff.
Very interesting. It sounds so much like the SNES version of the song. Most people will play it on, like a guitar, a singular instrument. While that sounds good too, it's cool to see someone create a nearly identical sound of a song that was like MIDI.
I've been really enjoying all your work, it's unbelieveable what one man and his passion can achieve! Will you ever get around to any pieces from Secret of Evermore?
