If you buy the white steam chicken rice, it is cold, cause once cook they dunk it into ice cold water to keep the skin gelatin like. For that soya sauce chicken, I am not sure, but usually all places cook their chicken much earlier then the noodles or rice. So usually meat is a bit cooler but they mask that with steaming hot rice or noodles which you eat them together.
Roasted or boiled meats are never sold hot because they are pre cooked and hung up before being served. Braised meats are served warm or hot. The noodles are what provides the heat in the dish because they are freshly cooked just before being served.
Hey Dav. Great new channel. Should have more subscribers mate! I watch all of your stuff. Just mention it more on your main channel. Plug it heaps! Anyway, thanks for keeping us educated & entertained. Have a great Christmas. Can't wait to see what you get up to in 2024. Cheers, Gary in the Blue Mountains NSW, AUSTRALIA 😊
Heh you can stay here for 3 months and you have different food every day, 3 meals a day. Even without going to a full service restaurant. More than happy to bring you around.
I was eating a cold slice of mushroom pizza when you took your mushroom trip! I was totally cracking up! And I was disappointed for you cause that chicken looked like it was hot off the roaster. Thanks for bringing us along again!
These chicken be it Chicken Rice or Soy Sauce Chicken are all pre-cooked and hung up to cool, and they are chopped up and then serve. They dun reheat it, if I ever eat a plate with hot chicken, I am going to suspect they serve you overnight left over that they heat up in the microwave. 😆
I was hoping you were going to dip it into the curry! No, I've not heard enough about the light show, tell me more! #RattleOn #EatthePlanet #EattheWorld
It's an amazing show! All the super trees are synched with music and they play movie soundtracks like Back to the Future, Jaws and Jurassic Park. It was something amazing to see!
Dude, welcome to Singapore, u shud hook up wif the locals here to do ur food video.... We have a total of 4 main races in Sg...which many foreigners claimed is a melting pot of culture.... Our country has 1) Chinese 2) Malay 3) Indian 4) Caucasian 5) Peranakan (an inter marriage between a Chinese n a Malay) We used to b under the British colony (recently Prince William just visited Singapore), hence there's tons of historical colonial buildings... To taste the individual race's food culture, u can go to the following locations: 1) China Town 2) Geylang Serai and the famous Haji Lane 3) Little India 4) Peranakan food like laksa, Kaya toast can b found in Joo Chiat I'll share with u some links on the food locations which r famous amongst the Singaporeans... We have little islands around us too, as quick, short getaway for the weekends....if u r interested 😊👍
Yes please. Unfortunately I had such a short amount of time this trip that I really feel like I missed a lot. I'll have to come back as soon as I can! Thanks for your comment and your offer. I really appreciate it!
