@@Velder.um actually, the original is actually about Goku which people could call "Kakarot" and Teen Gohan, but isn't really a teen that time because of his age so off. The "Father & Son Kamehameha" is a move where Goku and Gohan in SSJ2 state, and they start to use the move to the perfect form of Cell, also called "Perfect Cell". But it didnt finish him off, but it did make him go the 2nd form. But since he was about to implode and Gohan had no more ki, Goku sacrifices himself by teleporting Cell to Heaven right as Cell is about to implode. Gohan cries after his father died. So basically it isn't just Gohan's move, but you're technically right!🤓
That's a reference to the giant rassengan not kamehameha Froakie's water pulse is rassengan Which because water shuriken which is rassenshuriken And he taught lucario, turning his rassengan, into odama rassengan
eh i disagree the matchups that weren't super important (ie, most of them except for pikachu vs tapu koko) had animation that was kinda eh like rewatch rowlet vs braviary and youll see what i mean
@@natalimoina I remember Guzma's fight against the normal type specialist in tournament, Every time Guzma ordered Scizor to use metalclaw (or was it bulletpunch I don't know) they reused the same scene for Scizor setting up, it was reused like 3-4 times within one battle... I guess it was stunning in one way 💀
Fun fact: When you go to Ash's house in Pokemon Yellow and click on the TV, there will be a reference to Dragon Ball, he will say that there is a cartoon about a boy with a monkey tail(Young Goku).
@@aigerakabane364Pokemon Yellow's world was more in line with the anime continuity. Pikachu is the starter and Jessie and James are prominent antagonists. It isn't wrong to say Ash in this instance.
Ikr, that's just how you say Bolt in Japanese, it just sounds similar. A Pikachu had a hairstyle in the anime too, and this one having classic anime bushy hair is just coincidence.
Nah it’s 🔩 and not ⚡️ His name is Bolt and his name means bolt in Japanese. Boruto sounds like Bolt which is a reference to his uncle Neji (Screw). Japanese language have no L, so they replaced it with R. Also in the Boruto anime logo O is shaped like a bolt and grey bars are a bolt.
It’s not the world championship, it’s the Alolan championship. Father Son Kamehameha is an attack only Teen Gohan uses in his fight against Cell. Kamehameha is the signature attack of all Turtle School students, not just Goku.
I don’t know I always thought that the destructo disc was krillin’s signature attack and yamcha’s was the wolf fang fist. I mean they use the kamehameha but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s their signature attack.
@@corruptcamerupt2344Most fighters in Dragon Ball have their own techniques, but learn the Kamehameha when they join the Turtle School and learn the ways of the Turtle Master's (Kame Sennin) Martial Arts style. "Kame" literally means "Turtle", and if you were to disect the technique's name on "Kame", then "Hame", and finally "Ha", you'd have something that (if I recall correctly) roughly translates to "Turtle's Destructive Wave".
@@commonbridge4735Most iconic doesn't mean signature. Vegeta's most iconic attack is his Final Flash, but his signature move is still the Galick Ho. In some cases, like Piccolo, their most iconic happens to also be their signature move, this move being the Makankosappo.
@@MateulizGameplay I know that, it’s kinda like how tien and chiaotzu were students of the crane school led by the crane hermit (tsurusen’nin) where they learned their signature moves, the dodon ray (or dodonpa) the kikoho (tri-beam) and is also the school known for developing the technique of using ki to fly (at least on earth). Which that’s actually why Master Roshi never learned to fly in the series, due to his pride of the turtle school being the rival of the crane school.
@@BluePhoenix_ I know but for the rest of the seasons he doesn't use it cause Ash's weird brain swapped it for electro ball. And ever since Pikachu has been going Super Saiyan without it
I think Super Saiyan is more accurate during the final climatic 1v1 with Leon and his Charizard. As a final gambit, Pikachu’s thunderbolt made Pikachu Super Saiyan, while Leon’s Charizard’s Fire Blast (I believe) made him power up significantly as well. In the end, of course, Pikachu won. I believe it’s all due to his Super Saiyan ability Pikachu somehow possesses
@@shadowfan115 man thinking of the hoen anime made me remember volt tackle and how cool it was, and then they got rid of it for electro ball then electro web which is such a down grade.
In Charizard's case, that was likely Blaze activating, it was tired and it was near the end of the Battle so, in a way, it had low HP, which is what triggers Blaze in the games
Idk if anyone has said this but in Pokemon Ultra Adventures Pokemon does a Reference to both "Batman: The Killing Joke" and "Super Saiyan" within the same episode it's during the "Nercrozma Arc"
Where’s one piece I command that that’s the best anime Pokémon is seconde but I stopt watching Pokémon bc ash is gone and I love ash.ash is a idiot like monkey.D.luffy
Boruto is also an appropriate name for a Pikachu since "BORUTO" is the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "bolt" and Pikachu is an electric type.
Don't forget, in the Sinnoh saga, Ursula's Plusle and Minum performed the Fusion Dance during the appeals round when Dawn was competing for her 5th ribbon.
Yes the Father-Son Kamehameha, the combined might and power of two saiyans, it’s no wonder it couldn’t be beaten at the time it was used. Those parts of a dragon ball fight where two ki-blast or energy blasts collide into each other, and make for a sort of “beam push fight” ,those never ceased to leave me on the edge of my seat. It was one of those series I thought I would hate, but Ive actually grown to love it more and more, just surprised I never watched it as a kid!
In Sun and Moon there was a part where Jessie was having a fantasy and she was cosplaying a bunch of iconic characters her japanese VA Megumi Hayashibara had voiced like Rei Ayanami, Faye Valentine, Paprika, among others, and I think that one is even more insane
Oh, and a note. In one of the very last episodes of pokemon Ultimate Journeys, to beat Lion, pikachu almost faints but then he charged into super saiyan and remixed the Gotta Catch 'Em All song to announce ash's victory
Of course, that’s not all of them. Sun and Moon also had a reference to the Devil Gundam (who some of you may recognize as the Dark Gundam) from G Gundam; meanwhile Lokix is a walking Kamen Rider reference
