I use the following in order: 1. Roll 1/2 2. Reverb 50 3. Echo 1/2 This is all with one hand, Same time i use other hand bring the fader down as soon as i press those FX together. And immediately press play in like 4th beat of the current track. 99% of the time it blends flawlessly with any BPM any genre.
@@faustochavez4193 DDJ-XP2. It is the sub controller of many buttons. You get an extra 32 pads, a ribbon FX trigger that you can assign 3 different FXs to plus a nice, meaty scroll knob and load buttons for your decks.
I'm also using an sx2! I can't use it with rekordbox though, only serato, and pad fx are kinda limited to the roll and slicer. what pad fx are you using on your sx2?
@@djcarlo been working on my production skills, my friend I’ve also been experimenting with new genres And I recently joined the Tomorrowland Academy so i’m learning new things along the way
Been using Pad Fx for a couple of years. WAY better than the alternative. People sleep on pad fx even though the XDZ XZ has them built in a they promoted it as a feature. People prefer doing things the hard, less efficient, less effective way I guess.
Thank you very much for the video and tips. Whats the genre called you are mixing? I am looking for good tracks to learn this too. Where can I find them?
This is so extremely untrue. Everything done in this world, even mundane things like walking, needs to be learned. This is like saying no one actually needs to learn to drive.
