Lamig you are right. There's nothing wrong with what you said. The man can stay strong but through his weakened times, his wife needs to stay just as strong or more. And yes if roles reversed. I went through a tough period for only a year and my wife left me telling me that I wasn't worth being with because I should be more worried about her and her children more than the pain I was going through. Little does she know.... I was but she took every moment she could to tell me how bad I was or how wrong I was. Now and for the last decade I am worthless. Through sickness and in health is an oath and that woman stayed true. My wife at the time used my sickness against me and my money to pay her school Dept and then leave with my heart and soul. Now I have no soul. It's all gone
@@realist7934😢 I'm SO SORRY For What You Went Through With Her!! She shouldn't have treated you that way. You are a human being & that's NOT how your suppose to treat your partner who your suppose to be in love with!!! A woman using your sickness against you & using you to pay her debt & then leave....WOWWW....NOW THAT'S JUST TOTALLY WRONG!!! GEEZUS CHRIST THAT'S HEARTLESS!!! YOU DESERVE A HELL OF ALOT BETTER THEN THAT!!! I REALLY HOPE That You Do Find The Right One Someday Soon Because We ALL Deserve To Be Loved By That Special Someone!!! That one person who will be there through thick & thin. Who will love you for you. Anyways Brett I hope that you won't give up on love cause the 1 your going to be with for the rest of your life is still out there somewhere. 😉HAPPY HOLIDAY'S 2019!!!🎅🤶🎄🎁❄☃️🎉🎊👍🤗😉😍😎🤩👋🙋🏻♀️✌ I Wish You ALL The BEST For The Rest Of This Year & MANY MANNNNY.....MOOOOOORREEE...Year's To Come!!! I'm so sorry for saying so much I just got upset about how she treated you🤯😱😠. Anyways you take care now Bye...Bye!!!🙂🤗😉😎👋🙋🏻♀️✌💖
@@realist7934 she took your soul and your faith in people. I know exactly how you feel. Fight back shes the lowlife not you. Make yourself the promise that she only ruined you for a time in your life and not for the rest of your life wake up tomorrow and say fuck her someday she will get what she deserves and so will you
Not sure if Brad will see this, but my dad died when I was little. I’d have lived in a ditch to have him with me throughout my life. Your existence means so much more than you’ll ever know. You gave the family the best thing you could - you. ❤
I don't comment like this much but I also lot my dad at a young age. I am 32 now. our dads are always with us! much love from me to you and your family.
And that's why you won't win. Life is fucked up like that. People like you never get rich like that because you're gonna change the world. Love your mindset Please don't change.
My mom and I talk about if we ever won the lottery, we would turn our local animal shelter into a no-kill shelter. Buy land and build a sanctuary for the animals.
If you win the Powerball you shouldn't give it away. Invest 70% of it. live from 10% + part of the income from the investment give away. 10-15%. Then you can donate yearly with part of the investment profits.
I know that the parents are NOT HAPPY about raising their kids in a garage. But I GUARANTEE you that 20 from now these kids will look back on this time as the most meaningful period of their lives, because the will know, KNOW, first hand that BOTH their parents no matter how modest or unassuming they may be, were truly warriors.
You must have private healthcare... In Canada, we have free health care. I had a compound fracture from whistler bike park so i went to the local care center and waited about 4 hours even though I had a bone sticking out of my arm. My mom finally told them to take me to a private hospital (expensive and run by rich bastards, but no wait time and high-quality care from doctors that are paid a decent amount) and they amputated my arm after I got an infection either from the waiting room or from the lack of knowledge in the city EMS. Free "universal" healthcare never works and results in underpaid doctors, insanely long wait times and billionares who own private hospitals and care centers that only the wealthy can afford. Not to mention you need to be a citizen and pay your taxes to get care from the "free doctors" (AKA the homless dont get healthcare bc they dont pay taxes, and international visitors have to pay for private health care). In conclusion don't listen to the lefts brainwashing ideas, they all fail and destroy peoples rights, and end up sending 95% in extreme poverty and 5% in extreme wealth (like socialist venezuela) @Hoodie Papa -cheers man @December - learn some hsitory plz
What a beautiful gift secret gave this deserving family I hope he gets his health back any moves into a beautiful place for him and his family they deserve it God bless them
Just wonder , how it is about health insurajce in USA. Im asking cause im not USA citizen. Are they really pay a money for incidents, health problems and medical care, or you need to get a lawyer in advance cause you have to fight with insurance company for every dolar from them ?
@@teniabryz5879 there is some socialized healthcare in the US, but most pay for it. There are various insurance companies with differnt plans at differing costs. So you ultimately do have options as far what you need and how much you want to pay, but ultimately your insurance will only cover the expense partially so the remainder is left for you to pay. If you dont have insurance you wont be denied emergency services and you wont be arrested if you cant pay it and more than likely the hospital wont attempt to pursue you legally for it unless it's an excessive amount. People solely blame the government solely for the issues that arise from the system, but really it's just the healthcare industry. They call all the shots, they get to charge whatever amount they want and because of how our economic system works (generally) they aren't regulated as much as they should be. On a better note, this has really propelled our health care system in terms of how good it is on a fundamental and technological level. All the money that has been pumped in it over the years has really propelled the advancement of medicine, so much so that foreign leaders from countries with socialized healthcare come here to be treated. This comes at the cost of the average person though. It's like our military. It turns out if you throw the equivalent of other countries GDPs at something, you'll probably have the best version of it.
That dad is broken deep inside, but staying strong outside for his family. God is keeping him around for a reason. I hope he finds his purpose so he can adapt and be happy again. God Bless him.
Whoever this Secret Santa is I hope God continues to bless him so he can continue to help others in this way. Wow, this is so great for this loving family.
Oh Brad, never break your wife's heart by saying that sort of stuff again - death to collect life insurance. Never please. I have watched programs sometimes where a parent dies unexpectedly or via some sort of sickness and a child is scarred deeply. Over 20 years later you see the grown kids still weeping as they recall memories of their lost parent. Man, I tell you, no money can ever replace a father's love. No amount of money will place your little son on the knee as you did in that picture at the end. No amount of money will replace your smile, the sound of your voice or your presence in your home. No amount of money will hold your wife tight at night. You were saved for a reason, live it out bro. Love to your entire family, secret santa and all who made this possible...
You are dead on! 16 years later and I swear it only gets harder because you realize all sorts of other things you missed out on w them. Stay strong, I know it has to be hard, but your family needs YOU 😭❤️
k hanna A BREAK?? So you think that is isn’t about politics and ratings? The secret santa does an amazing job of being a verykind person. And then the news outlet capitalizes on it. They had no need to make it into a recurring show. They could have been anonymous as well. Perhaps the secret santa is in fact the sponsors for the news outlet. More viewers. More money. The family I sincerely sympathize with. Not the exploitation for cheep cheers and cheep tears. And of course it is about politics. If Idaho didn’t have the lawmakers they have, perhaps families like these would be cared for. But alas, some of the very same people who sit at home revelling in these shows, are also part of the mass of people denying help for other families in need.
Man I wish I had millions in the bank to give to people like this. If only MORE rich people could help others like this that truly need it! For those that do thank you :)
I read on recent news that they have a drafter working on it, they are going to add a 1000 sq ft house added to the workshop. ideally they would like a separate house but for now they will do, I think more people in the community reached out to support too
6:30 dads reaction really got me here. That’s a man who just needed some surety that his family would be okay. I can’t imagine how hard it much be to have all the setbacks he’s faced and yet he’s still a great dad, doing what needs to be done. So many in his position would be physically inactive. He’s a dad through and through.
I hope the person or people that are giving/donating this money are able to see the messages that these struggling families are saying about how much this means to them.
If this story and video wasn’t already emotional, that message at the end just reaches your core. This blessing and this family are beyond precious! Incredible moment.
With everything going on in the world today, these videos restore my faith in humanity. Nate you are perfect for this. And to everyone blessed by Secret Santa, you DO deserve it!
Of course she didn't leave him. I cared for my husband during his terminal cancer and I wouldn't have dreamed of doing anything else. That's what love and commitment mean. When I made those vows I meant them.
my dad's been through something similar, got cancer, got a ton of infections, hips deteriorating, and he had his leg amputated as well. he'll be ok, my dad still does everything he did before just in his own way but he gets its done.
@ShariSez1 oh for sure, my dad was really blessed to have the job he had with the army corps of engineers, through it all he continued to drive an hour to Baltimore, sometimes another hour to the Pentagon, and then an hour or two home, every day until he retired, for months he went undiagnosed with a broken femur, still went to work, up at 5, home around 5, and I know he wasn't doing it for himself, it was all for us, that's why I know for fact this man has a cape under that shirt, because my dad does too.
Brad can’t die ! He is the light of the family and he is the reason the wife still fights the fight ! Sometimes it’s hard to believe but being alive is enough for someone who loves you .
Out of all the secret Santa's I've watched, this has hit me the hardest. I can't stop crying. To hear people complain over trival things and then hear this, it puts life in prospective. Bless this family and may God keep this awesome man alive for his loving family.
GOSH, this family sure has had their share of medical problems and their lives have been on hold, and they made due with what they had and held the family together through it all. Thank you for helping putting their stress and worries on the back burner for a while with this secret Santa gift. His wife's message was so heartfelt and appreciative for the gifts. I feel the gifts came at just the right time for them. May THIS be the best year for them that gets them back on their feet and finally gets their home built and moved out of the garage. 💜🙏💖☮
You win, you made my eyes leak. Brad you have a beautiful family and I wish you many years with them. Never give up, your family needs you as much as you need them, that's what family is.
Before we moved, my wife and I used to buy presents for kids up the road who had a mother, to be kind, spent her money on things other than her kids. We also had an old artificial tree that we used to set up for them. It made them so happy. And that was the best Christmas present of them all.
Gerald Kneeland Thank you, but that’s not necessary. It really was our pleasure. Especially watching them open the gifts and eat the Christmas cookies. I wish we would have kept in touch. I’m so curious as to what became of them.
They're so strong inspite of their unending problems. Maybe we should stop complaining and grumbling, being normal and have everything we need! LORD GOD, have mercy on them and bless them as only YOU can!
She expressed so much with so few words, here I am sitting in my children’s room waiting for them to go to sleep and I’m quietly crying. Such a strong family!
My husband felt the same way as he was badly injured in a work place accident. We lost him to cancer, now I have the ability to have what ever my hearts desires, but it means nothing as I couldn't have what I desire most him
I'm having an early morning coffee and I'm bawling my eyes out ... I used to feel sorry for myself ... we adopted a Down Syndrome baby who'd been abandoned at birth at the hospital... she had major life saving heart surgery at 1 week old and will need more heart surgeries in the near future. My hubby died 2 years ago and our world fell apart... I was diagnosed with severe COPD and didn't know if I could manage and cope with our now 17 year old DS daughter. Since stumbling on Secret Santa I have been bewildered by the hard times and struggles facing these families and how uncomplaining and courageous they all are. In comparison I realise how blessed my life is and that we could've been dealt worse...Thanks SS for reminding me to be grateful for all that we have 🙏 and how blessed we are every day.
Nothing beats the love this couple have for each other..brad feeling sorry for the hardships his family is facing just wanting to die so they could have a better life...his wife a sweet doll as she is wouldn't give him up for anything in this world...this story touched me that even when I was reading her little message and came about that part of him feeling guilty, blamed himself and said if he dies they'll live a better life from his insurance just left me in tears🙏🙏pray that this family have all what they want and that their needs may be fulfilled
Brad, I hope you read this personally. Thank you for staying so strong. Its men like you that show us boys what being a man looks like. You're going through so much but you arent giving up. "Taking it one day at a time" means a lot more coming from someone like you. Thank you for putting me in my place and my problems in perspective. I'm glad y'all got this gift. Thank you for being strong. You're an inspiration, man.
Amazing! If I could, I'd go donate time to build it along side him. I'm recovering fro shoulder surgery but construction is my game. God bless ad Merry Christmas. Thank you Secret Santa!
Despite what we have been brainwashed with about the United States being a terrible place, it is actually full of some of the most wonderful people that I have ever met and in a lot of places their sense of community is incredible :)
My dad was in a car accident (he was not driving, he was in a passenger-side sleeping) when my mom was in her (8th/7th labour - she miscarried once)... I remember the night she woke us up, told us the bad news... asked us to pray for our dad, and when we heard that our dad will need to have one of his arms and leg amputated, my mom went to a hospital, like a superhero and told doctors she will be unable to raise 7 kids + disabled husband by herself! Our prayers were heard I guess or at least my mom's determination to fight for her husband and us kids... Eventually, doctors had saved his leg and arm (that were to be amputated), even though they counted more than 1000s of pieces of metal in his body mainly in one of his arms and leg... Years after he recovered, not fully but he can drive an automatic car and he is actually half disabled taxi driver! Years later my sister slipped on stairs falling down the stairs breaking her pelvic bone... just to find out that she got infected in some type of virus that (not only was rare but never had been dealt with in my home country)... Because my family is deeply religious we have a family of "brothers, and sisters in Christ - called saints" around the world, so when news reached the USA all the Brothers in Christ (doctors) came to my home country... it passed a week or two, and everyone was working really hard to try to get the proper antibiotics to work to fight the virus... Again I have seen my dad crying being upset at God when my whole family was dedicated to the Lord... I fell down on my knees and cried myself to ask God to take me instead of her! That day in the evening the Doctors said she had 3 HOURS TO LIVE at most... And then miracle had happened that the mixture of antibiotics started to work (she was tiny but looked blew like a Michelin mascot, and her skin was soooo yellow), then after a year spent in a hospital she went back to school and 3 consecutive years, she was a NO. 1 student in the whole school... There are days when I think about it, but I am a failure cause I just can't believe in God anymore... I just feel like these were just coincidences... Feel like God never intervened! It was my parents who did their best to not only still be together but to never give up (yes I could give credit to my parent's Christian faith) but I myself doubt Christian faith! And again people like people in this video, are not saved by God or blessed with God's help... They are blessed with a person who got enough heart and money to help people in distress, or hard time!
I look at this family and I see my own. I couldn't even imagine if something like this happen to me or my wife. How lucky we are to have our health. I'll be keeping this family in my prayers.
When I feel down, here in Indy, I look towards East Idaho and I feel good about my own life, and my country. I watch Secret Santa everyday now. It helps me to remember to say thank you and hold a door for someone behind me. Thank you, and Merry Christmas!
That's a beautiful and deserving family. I thank God for sparing Brad's life. I could see that they trust God. It's so exciting to know that they will have the house they dreamt of. The secret Santa has changed their life, with this generous gift. Such a heartwarming and beautiful story. I was in tears. Secret Santa you've outdone yourself. You certainly made my day! Thank you and God bless you and that deserving family. 👍♥️♥️♥️
ERICA AND BRAD, ARE A COMPLETE AND THOROUGH EXAMPLE OF A LOVING, GODLY MARRIAGE. THIS IS WHY THEY WILL NEVER FAIL. PEOPLE NEED TO STOP GIVING UP ON THEIR MARRIAGES, SIMPLY BECAUSE FB OR ANOTHER PERSON COMES ALONG WITH ANOTHER, THEN ANOTHER, ETC. JUST BECAUSE LIFE GETS TOUGH, DOES NOT MEAN GIVE UP ON EACH OTHER. THEY WILL THRIVE, BECAUSE THEY HAVE EACH OTHER. GOD HAS BLESSED A TRULY DESERVING FAMILY HERE. THANK YOU GOD. AND THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE DOING HIS GOOD WORKS.MERRY CHRISTMAS,UT MOST OF ALL HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS.
Man, it wasn't god, it was a secret santa. 🎅 Don't tell me you believe in a god discribed in an old outdated book, but you don't believe in Santa Claus?
Tears just won't stop falling. Secret Santa and all who are making this possible are continuing and doing the work of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
