You could do this, but you'll be running for the rest of your life pretty much. Alternatively, learn to defend your loot and become a well oiled machine (with your crew). This way you'll be able to fight off most pirates trying to steal your loot. And you'll get better at it over time. You will feel more secure just keeping treasure on your ship. And you'll also be a lot faster if you just stack until you reach emissary lvl 5 and then go to sell, lower and raise a flag again and repeat.

I would do a skelly fort voyage for gold hoarders. You get two chests and plenty of emm for it. You’ll also be close to at least one skele camp

I just to go three of them. Lookout point, Barnacle, and Shiver.

Why would you spent the time to store your loot when you can just sell it at an outpost and get more orbs? I get that you get more for a higher level flag.. but the time you spend on doing this I feel like you can just get more orbs and get your flag up pretty fast anyway.. It's a neat little trick sure, but I feel its a giant waste of time. Also you be a sitting duck having to fish up all your loot and sell it from the merm.. while if you would just go to an outpost and sell right away you only be at the risk of losing your flag. There are plenty fast routes you can take to get a couple of orbs and pitstop at an outpost, and repeat..

All the time you spend storing treasure in merm statue is time you waste to get more orb

I thought they patched the mermaid storage so you can’t server hop and keep your loot stored, can you still do to this day?
