Kristen really went from jumping down the stairwell of a tower with a ribbon dancer and expecting it to slow her fall... to jumping off the roof of a building with an immovable rod and expecting it to stop her fall. And both with about the same amount of success.
@@Dr.Sizzle ? Kristen is always going to be a chaotic person. I'm not sure if you were expecting her to have a 180 in terms of personality, but that's not how character growth works? Just like how Riz is always going to be a workaholic or how Fabian is always going to have an inflated opinion of himself. There character growth is reducing these negative aspects of themselves so more manageable/healthy levels. Also like. They're teens? Nobody has figured themselves out in just 3 years of highschool.
@Dr.Sizzle I feel like you don't really know what actual character growth is. It doesn't mean completely changing. Honestly they are making great strides comparing to most high schoolers.
@@Dr.Sizzle later in this episode she uses it successfully to stop her and all of her friends' fall from max height, saving them. Also, when her ex girlfriend called out for her, she went towards her Goddess instead, showing her growth from just the beginning of the season. She's still fucking around, but she's fucking around in her free time, not during serious situations anymore. She's not going to become Riz or Adaine, almost always in serious mode, but she's growing, and that takes time. She's just a kid, she'll get better, just give her a few more years.

All of these were actually *really* sweet and thoughtful, if occasionally a little weird… though the cursed rat cancan dancers will remain seared into my brain for the rest of my days, thanks ever so much for *making that worse* Figueroth! I also just love Riz still isn’t over that card. Just… these kids all need hugs!

He's figured out the formula for breaking the audience. He won't overuse it, but whenever he gets the chance, he's gonna go for the slam dunk. It seems to work every time.

Can we talk about how some of these presents are substantially stronger than others? The Earworm with 15 charges? That's a huge improvement over the usual 4. Bracers of Defense as a +2 to AC on Riz (who probably wears light armour already so its home-brewed) Edit: he does wear armour! It's the seraph thingy
@@YourBFAstro I think it gives ally the potential to jump off things without hurting themselves. It's ally. There could be no better gift But yeah the earworm is broken as hell. It basically means you can read everyone's thoughts all the time, and force enemies to move away from you at will.
@@alexskelton4150 I honestly think the earworm is best used for dissonant Whisper's control effect. The detect thoughts spell sends all of that information to a Daelkyr which could be a problem in the future 🤷♂️. But it's definitely powerful either way.
