Teotihuacan was one of the largest cities in the ancient world. The serpent’s temple was so important that it was enclosed by a citadel, with walls over 7 metres high, it had only a single entrance making it easy to defend.
This temple was once one of the greatest buildings in the world, its true purpose has been hidden deep below its surface for centuries. Archaeologist Sergio Gómez Chávez uncovers its dark secret and was the first person to enter a secret tunnel for 1800 years.
