Secret Wedding Sunnah's 

Wedding Sunnahs • Walimah lasts for 3 day. Keep it simple but hold it for 3 days as how our Prophet Muhammad SAW held his wedding to Safiyyah bint Huyayy for three days. • Invite righteous people/ person with taqwa to the walimah • Do not only invite the rich to the walimah and ignoring the poor • To have good food at the walimah. Our Prophet Muhammad SAW slaughtered a goat for his walimah with Zaynab bint Jahsh • Do not go overboard with spending for the walimah. Have a walimah that is within your means. • Contribute to the walimah you are attending. Bring sweets or food to share at the walimah.

These neglected sunnahs really opened up my eyes. Really beautiful. May Allah make it easy for us all to have simple weddings without the complication of culture being involved in it. Ameen.
