Fantastic documentary. I love this channel. Definitely my go to on long trips and air travel. Always amazing video and photos. Thanks for keeping history alive for the younger generations. My 17yr old nephew and I love watching the video and texting and face timing each other during and after watching them and talking about it. Hopefully have a future flight test engineer in our family.

As a kid I grew up not far from Edwards in the 50’s. We heard sonic booms daily. It was a grand time for a kid that loved airplanes.

I been to Edwards AFB TDY about five times in 1980s and 90s. Like going there. Love the history of the base and the endless sonic booms. I remember when they were filming the movie The Right Stuff and by luck watched two Space Shuttle landings. Dry, Hot and dusty, I miss going there, Great video.👍🦂🌵✈🌡☀🪖

At the 1:00:20 mark is a sequence of F-111A 65-7503 on September 11, 1972, which crashed during spin testing. As an EAFB Transient Alert crew member, I had performed Last Chance on this aircraft moments before this fateful crash. The remnants of the plane were returned to the Tansient Alert hangar, adjacent to Base Ops, where the intact crew module was placed (intact) centered among the scattered remains. A day to remember... This is an excellent video! I’ve been to Edward’s many times, and there is so much history there. The sled facility has basically been abandoned , but you can still see the tracks and other parts.

Some REALLY GR8T video. I though I've seen most of these types of video clips over the years but clearly haven't. And it's quite lengthy (that's what she said). Very COoL content. I'll goes as far as to call this the "mother-load of experimental -aircraft- everything videos". Thank you for this (old) new stuff! You RoCk! Cheers from So.Ca.USA 3rd House On the Left.

Awesome Video @DroneScapes 💯 I remember many of these aircraft being tested in Tulsa Air Force plant #3. When I was 4-8 years old, we lived approximately 1.5 miles from the airport.. So many good memories of those years. Always been a fan of our US aircraft. Great job on all your videos.... 🇺🇲🫡 🛫🛬
