Millions of people come thru Las Vegas and visit Downtown, and yet there are so many things that both tourists and locals miss, and most of it is in plain sight. Giselle and I are here to show you some of these hidden gems that are all over the downtown area. Also for accuracy, the Glitter Gulch topless club was NEXT to The Las Vegas Club and was operating all the way up to the demolition date for Circa. There was also Mermaids on the other side.

I'm not saying this is WHY you have to get a security guard to escort you in, but back about 15 years ago I was in there and a group of ladies walked in while I was... You know... Admiring the wall. For some reason THEY got upset over this - I honestly didn't care - and reported ME to security. Obviously I didn't get in any trouble, I was using the facilities as they were intended. However, shortly after they started requiring an escort for ladies in there. So who knows? That might be my fault. ;)

They might try to set their Fremont opinions but THE LAW IS THE LAW in that County! Law is NOT set street by street that is just opinion they are laying down! The fact is that you can drink a big bottle of whiskey out of the sunroof of a Limousine with no bag while it's moving in Vegas/Clark County and it's perfectly legal!!

Downtown has really changed over the years, and has made so many great improvements. I love the live music on Fremont and all the gorgeous murals. I hope your throat didn't get too sore from trying to talk over that loud fun crowd. You do such a great job covering all the fun spots in the area, and showing me some fun new places to check out. @Brenda Potter - I visit Vegas once a month from California, and I can honestly say that I prefer to stay in Downtown Vegas than on the Strip!

@@kevinp8108 I love the strip and Downtown, but prefer to stay at hotels that are away from both. I love staying at Green Valley Ranch, The M Resort, South Point, Suncoast, and Red Rock. One of these days I want to stay at the JW Marriott, it looks fabulous. Going to the Strip and Downtown are always a must for me, but I also want to just relax and enjoy the calmness that these resorts offer. It saves me a ton of money on food too. Viva Las Vegas!!!

Glitter Gultch was next door to the Las Vegas Club. Both LV Club and GG closed in 2015. It's so disappointing that Hand Of Faith is fake. They dont have the real one on display anymore. Great video Norma. Have a wonderful weekend 🤗😁👍Thumbs Up 4 ya

I used to stay at the top of the strip in Stratosphere or SLS and I found that close enough to walk to downtown, even in the summer. I way 230 lbs and Canadian, and I found it fine to walk in June or July. But I admit that if I had been any farther down the strip it would probably have been too much. The best part is if you do the walk at night drug dealers come up to you and ask you "Are you OK?" I would nod and assure them I am that I am indeed OK, just doing some undercover police work.

I actually love Downtown Vegas. First off I want to thank you for telling me what that door with all the stickers is. My brother and I knew something special was there. Now... yes Downtown sometimes gets a bad rap, but there is a lot of things to do there. Shout out to The Donut Bar, Toy Shack , The Underground, Nightmare Toys, El Cortez Casino, Rogue Toys, Ichiban Sushi .

Yes! Sigma Derby is the name of the old horse racing game there at the D. If you want to collab, I'm starting to make channel content again. I'd be happy to explain how to play the game, and also, how's its secretly the cheapest spot to drink in Vegas. People come from all over the world to check it out, since it's the last one operating in public (the rest are in private collections).

No need to walk to the strip. I don't like the Deuce bus, but I take the CX bus from Fremont Street and it drops you off at the Tropicana for $2. Runs about once an hour but it gets on 15 freeway past the outlets and gets off on Tropicana.

So what did I learn from this video? Well didn't learn but reaffirmed the knowledge of how much Miss Norma loves pizza! I disagree about BBQ and pizza. I make a mean sweet BBQ Sauce/chicken/bacon/cheddar cheese pizza when I have time to cook. It may not be what people expect, but I know they eat every bite! I was in line at the Fat Tuesday on Freemont and after waiting for more than an hour, we were less than 10 people away from the door, when the lady in front of me passed out straight back on her head. 😳. A Filipino man and I right away started assisting her and calling 911. Unfortunately at least 20 people jumped in front of us in line taking advantage of the situation. My husband got into an argument with a guy for jumping in front of him in line. It was a complete shit show. While Fremont is definitely more party vibes than the strip, it could be too ghetto and ratchet for some people. We personally probably won't ever go back. The Broadacres swapmeet was classier than Fremont lol.

Hey Norma! My wife and I have been watching your videos faithfully for almost a year now and always learn something new! Thank you for all the great content! Now, I am probably in a very small minority here, but I am a video editor by trade and I've noticed recently that on your videos where you are using two microphones, the audio tracks aren't mixed correctly. One mic will come from the left channel only while the other comes from the right channel only. If these two tracks were mixed to mono, they would both come from the center channel. Just something I find annoying when watching on stereo speakers. :-)

Yeah, walking from Downtown to The Strip. Did that once. We thought we were at the bus stop and the bus never arrived. I saw the Stratosphere and thought that it wasn't that far away. So we walked it. This was in the middle of September during a late afternoon. It turns out that the Strat only looks close.

@@davidleinoff8589 I honestly didn't think the walk was that bad. It was hot, but not super hot. I walked a lot in those days and I lived in a very hilly area, so a flat walk was always nice. Certainly not the best part of town, and not a place one would want to spend a vacation, but I really didn't feel unsafe. If I lived in Vegas, I would think of that as a nice walk. The walk took about 40 minutes, which is not much longer than taking the Deuce if there's traffic. If the weather wasn't so hot, then I might be willing to do it again. When we got to the Stratosphere (before the name change), we spoke with a local at the sports book and he thought we were crazy for doing that. Maybe we were.

You know I was a big strip guy only, but I am now a Downtown guy only! When I go to Vegas I go to the strip for one day, then spend the rest of the trip downtown. I always stay at El Cortez now! Great video, I always love the bloopers at the end! It was so cool seeing your fans too!
