I remember meeting and skating with Christian when I was 12. He is a great teacher especially if your struggling with a trick. Edit: he also said to growl in the air if your scared to land something

In 2017 I flew to the U.S. from New Zealand and my friend and I emailed Christian Hosoi to meet up with him. He bought us lunch, took us to Coldstone which I’d never heard of before, showed us some of his old boards and prayed for us!! Such an incredible dude!! 🙏🏽

Don't forget jd sanchez... If he was there age omg do u know and realize he is a beast already. Imagine years from now and jd shares everything he knows he hypes up street skaters to attempt tricks and coaches them like Ricky to land sick tricks and shares everything to help people learn and achieve greatness his attitude and abilities have made him a legend already even when his earliest stuff. His ability to pick up street skating as well omg he's a beast

was a big Christian Hosoi fan in the early days of skating and then he fell off the face of the earth and Tony took over as the face of skating. later after discovering the Doc. Rising son i learned his story. not only is it one of my all time favorite documentaries but still have a lot of love for Christian and everything he overcame to get clean. this episode is soo big for me as a fan of both the Braille channel and also Hosoi, had history been different we probably would have had Christian Hosoi pro skater not T.H.!

he was my hero when i was growing up. magazine pages of him way up there. in those days everyone wanted to know who got 2nd . to us that was who won because we were tired of tony hawk wining every time. if he wasn't first Christian would be second most of the time

This is my 5th time here1🙏 I'm 35 skateboarding has been my whole life Christian Hasoi is my childhood idol. His style and his confidence was so dope. I was first introduced to skateboarding through Bart Simpson and those dang Butterfingers commercials. Oh and back to the future and A Goofy movie!!! Let's goooo!
