That's what I did to my bamboo plant. I've been using mineral water and clean and change the water every two weeks. I have it in my room by the window and it is growing good and tall.
A science teacher advised that i add sea salt to make my lucky bamboo thrive. Is it good, and should i practice that. My lucky bamboo is in my office, though
Oh, that's new, we didn't have that problem. Like other sick plants, you'll have to attend to it quickly before you lose it. Try an Google it. We'll research it and get back with an update/video for you. Hope you can revive your splitting lucky bamboo in water.
My 7 or 10 roots is still yellow....can I cut the whole root section and will new roots come....there is only 1 branch now with 1 leaf!!!! Changed the water and washed the pebbles etc.
Thank you so much for the information. I have my LB for about ten years. Leaves are becoming yellow, I will try your advice, but I am not close to any store to buy fertilizer, any suggestions for homemade? When the roots in water become large and orangish I cut them, is it wrong? New growth from the bottom of the stem in water is showing, what to do with them? Sorry about all these questions, but I love my lucky Bamboo. Your response would be appreciated. Canada
It depends on how well your lucky bamboo is thriving...if it's not doing well in water, then transplant it into soil. That's one way to revive you lucky bamboo
