Awesome tips. What I do, as a complete rookie, is if they call an audible I switch to a different defense.. sometimes it works but not always. These tips will help me choose the best audibles to call

Anyone have any tips to read Cover 2 Invert??? That one always gets me. You think the Defense Is In a certain coverage then boom there In cover 2 Instead 😩😆

Wen ur playing competitively are your eyes really on the safeties first thoe? U don’t look at ur first read ur expecting to get open instead ?

Honestly if they are base aligned. Yes, my eyes go to the safeties. However, we don’t see a lot of base alignment in high level madden. It’s mainly still man with players manually dropped into zones to take away certain routes.

Base Align is a fairly basic adjustment. It’s a setting that you can change in your coaching adjustments that makes your defense look the same no matter what play you call

Can you help me how to read the defense when there in like tight or close or compressed formations???? I'd really appreciate it I already know for the most part how to read the defense in general when there in Bunch or off wk or spread formations much easier for me.

Gotcha, my bad @scorpio 1176. Do you see a lot of ppl running a cover 2 invert? Normally I am seeing ppl run cover 3 invert or cover 2 trap
