Situation:
China has started to try to reinforce the northern areas of Australia with their last remaining port in Darwin. S-2 believes if Delta Co can push and take that port then the PLA will be dealt a substantial blow and possibly they are last in Australia. Intel suggests that Darwin is heavily fortified and may have multiple companies of PLA soldiers stationed there. 3/160th SOAR will be tasked with hitting armor in the area to alleviate PLA numbers in the town prior to the operation. The only ISR available to us at this time are high-altitude photos due to anti-air radar in the AO.
Mission:
1st PLT, D CO 2/75 RR will conduct movement to the city of Darwin in the NW peninsula of the Northern Territory. The port located 332158 and the airport located 339168, are the main objectives in Darwin. The airport, designated OBJ Vampire, is the first objective to be moved on. Preventing PLA air assets from getting airborne is of the utmost importance. Once that objective is completed, the PLT will move to Port Darwin, designated OBJ Werewolf, which must be held after being cleared to prevent more opfor troops from being brought in.
