still remember this guys, ciphers usually get done in 80-120 seconds, depends on how slow&fast survivor decodes, how much they support or they rotate. and you dont always need to down somebody in less than 60 seconds to win. i remember downing a player within 2.5 minutes in cyclops/dragon and i still won x) but this doesnt mean you should be too comfortable with chases, try to get your first chase down in less than 80-90s. if its less than 60s 90% win
90% is a big word buddy, I would say it simply helps out. cuz me and my Tryhard team (they on absolute crack whenever they rank) we usually get instadowns and still win
Since you play BQ its understandable that you haven't told this but when you play other hunters, the biggest tip for hunters is that you have to anticipate to the kites. You can't just follow survivors, you gotta do some mind games or guess where they going and cut them off or force the survivors kite in a weak kiting area like 10:50 area
NAAAHHH I PLAY ON ASIA AND B BADGE PRIESTESS ON THE MATCH??? AND YOURE CROC😭 it's so insane to me that badges are so easily achieved in na/eu while in Asia you won't get any until mid tier especially if they're over/mostly used
@@ruslan7404 its cuz hunter is mostly a thing you gotta master yourself, who you main etc. On top of that you cant blame other people for mistakes cause its just you against 4 survivors, there for people dont feel the need to make a guide cause nobody is getting on their nerves.

It's so good to check ciphers as your atk recovery animation is going on after you down someone so you can chair that person by a cipher n force rescue or disrupt decoding :p

Omg, love - thank you!! I had a 100% wr for most of the season, I've lost twice now so I'm at 92%. I've lost games due to multiple harassers (2) or ppl taking the rollercoaster end-game. Either way, these are really good tips!
When you’re dealing with harassers you can always hit them or just go for them instead if the opportunity is there. They rely heavily on you tunnelling. If they ever stand in a bad area you can drop chase and go for them instead. Keep an eye on them and force them to waste their item or flywheel if they get too close. Hope it helps!
@@B0R3DOM It does; thank you! Most of the teams I go up against harrass when the person is on last chair (by now it's usually 2 ciphers left). I can generally stop to hurt the harasser but by then they've bought enough time for the last cipher to be primed. Or I try to chair the person anyway, and they land their stun.
Yeah, thats tricky. There’s a lot of “You should of” or “If you had picked..” situations when it comes down to those specific moments. When I personally have that happen to me I try to down the person with my skill, if im playing a one hit hunter this isn’t possible ofc. So I just go for a farm after chair, the faster they die, the more time I have to deal with the harasser. If you have trump card you could also switch to excitement, you’ll just have to be on someone’s tail as soon as the last cipher pops. Might be a little unclear, sorry! But I hope it can help at least a little😅

Night watch had me messed up in the beginning as well, I kinda figured it out now luckily. The problem with him was that I was too slow, so after some practice I understood the different sides of his skill and now me and him are cool. I’d say keep trying, he’s a lot of fun!

@@Ttkk_akka As a night watch main my best advice for pallet spam is to break a few pallets, it scares survivors as they expect you to jump. They typically panic and try to transition, which is where you can use the speed boost or tempest to get a hit. Also, don't waste your time, if it's taking too long to down the first chase, target someone else! I hope this helps, he's really fun to play!

I physically cannot play mary, but am a joseph used to be a C badge sculptor (I also cannot physically play her anymore i have not played her since I lost my first 2 accounts to facebook binding thats crazy)
For Weeping clown-Mary, weepy actually counters because one good rocket will just result in one mirror wasted, which is a lot, if you miss 3 mirrors early game the game is basically over
thanks for the tips but i think i'll stick with maining the same character until I die and if that one gets banned I just cant win ig cause honestly I only have the good strats nailed down for that one character
@@starnorthstarnorthNW gets banned pretty frequently in mid-high tiers, so having a backup hunter is never a bad idea if you main him! if you’re interested in picking up a hunter similar to NW, i recommend geisha since she also has a very aggressive, chase-oriented playstyle, but pick whoever you’d like of course :)

@@rick30521Mary counters harassers with her mirror. She gets more countered by support like Priestess, Seer, Antiquarian, and Cheerleader. She also gets countered by the 3+ hit survivors.
Ofc you cant always win. How would this be tier specific? It’s basic steps to gaining proper control over a match/ building your game sense. High tier and low tier do vary quite a bit but that doesn’t mean suddenly you have to drop the basic knowledge. Am I just not understanding your point or? I take it when you reach high tier as hunter, you also know how to play your characters well and you’d have more knowledge on what to do in certain situations, no?
@@B0R3DOM I ain't trying to prove you wrong or anything this guide is nice for establishing a decent base but afterwards it doesn't help as much, in other words, it's a good guide but there are a lot of ways to counter that mindset and gamesense, I mean it loses its value the higher up you rank I am in position to say that since I'm 7th Wu Chang Asia server and 23rd clerk na eu My point is I would not recommend this guide to people with will to absolutely ascend in rank. (Even though u get a 700% wr with this guide) sorry if I'm unclear with my dumb point
@@B0R3DOM no offense cus i genuinely do think you have entertaining videos but as a former s badge geisha i have to agree w this person.. this video is more of a playthrough w commentary than a guide? plus it is very tier specific (for low tiers) because you cant just always pull out bq or some other meta hunter. yea the video briefly touches on basic game sense but these tips are not going to be very helpful to somebody thats above saber because i think you can just learn this game sense through playing the game. it was a fun watch though and you make good content
@@_Baguette3yea i think so too as former 8th geisha this video seems more of a gameplay with commentary.. once u get into high tier it becomes harder to win with just game sense because most players already have really good game sense from playing so long, you cant really rely on it anymore. high tier players w high wr are just skilled at the game
Like a video going over how to kite as mechanic? I’d be down to do that. Its just that mech is really weak rn, so it might end up being a “how to kite” video instead.
The problem is that she usually leads the team to either tie or loose since she’s been nerfed so badly. I do admit there are amazing mechanics out there but i’d be talking about their raw kiting skill and not what mech as a survivor brings to the table.
