16:39 “I still don’t understand what Frieren said by ‘aversion to my own kind.’” Frieren was referring to how she had initially given up and didn’t want to join in on Himmel’s party. Sein also had given up on his adventure life, thinking it was too late. But Himmel convinced Frieren, especially with the words, “I’m talking about the present,” which she also said to Sein. She saw herself in Sein, how she used to be. She didn’t like that past self, just like she didn’t like Sein’s current state of mind, and that’s why she said, “I don’t like you. That’s why I’m going to do my best to make sure you join our group.”
I rewatched your reactions to Frierens and Sein’s first meeting five times. The confused looks and sudden realizations were hilarious, I just wished you caught Frierens face when she responded to Fern’s promise to give her an earful later. Made me think she knew all along and was just playing. I love your reactions to Frieren.
We actually noticed that!! We just forgot to mention 😆 It made us think that she sometimes find it fun when Fern is scolding her. And we find that really adorable 🥰 🫶🏻
