No, Jordan Chiles deserves the medal not all three. She earned it. Whatever happened with the Romanian gymnast and the disputed out of bounds, I am not sure when that inquiry was made. However, not properly scoring the difficulty of Jordan's routine that resulted in the inquiry in the first place is highly problematic. Jordan's inquiry was made within the alotted time. It was timely. It appears preferential treatment was provided to Romania. The decision was unjust and lacked impartiality. For the sake of fairness, justice, and the credibilty of the governing bodies itself, a full investigation should be conducted by an independent entity.. I find it odd the officials did not wait until USA Gymnastics had exhausted all avenues of appeal before re-awarding the medal. I find it odd CAS took the side of Romania in their timekeeping. I find it odd CAS was sending important emails to the wrong email addresses for USA Gymnastics. I find it odd the head of CAS has been serving for years to represent the interests of Romania. I find it odd this conflict of interest was not disclosed to USA Gymnastics. The CAS decision is still in dispute. There should be an investigation into CAS and its conduct of its investigation. A full reversal and reinstatement of Jordan as the proper title holder of the medal based on the evidence is warranted, as is an apology, and an investigation of CAS and those entities involved in the decision-making and re-awarding of medal with such haste.

I know there are Romanian haters that are making racist comments, just like there are many Americans making racist comments towards the Romanians in general, and Ana , Sabrina, Nadia Comaneci in particular. But MOST of the Romanians actually think the verdict was wrong and the three girls should all be bronze medalists, and we truly think it is unfair to take away the medal from Jordan, once it was given to her! Not because she had the best performance out of the three girls (Sabrina was the one that should have had the highest score), but it is not acceptable for Jordan to pay for the judges and the official's mistakes! Most of the Romanians think that all three athletes are paying for what others have done and it is not right! The real culprits here are the judges, the officials, IOC , the Omega system they used... I really think USA and Romania should team up and file a suit against the ones that caused all this mess and ask that they pay - not only fines, but with their jobs and stuff like that. So yeah, this is how most of the Romanians think... But you chose to judge a whole country based on your own feelings and on the comments made by SOME people (that were not even only Romanians). First of all, Ana would never have been 3rd place. 4th or 5th at best. Ana was properly scored. It is questionable whether any inquiry at all was made on Sabrina's behalf at Paris. Jordan we know had a scoring error. Jordan earned 3rd place.

All gymnasts Must be given credit for all elements performed without exception. There is a 1 minute period from when the score is posted to make an inquiry. Judges dont accept late inquiries. Jordan's coach made a timely inquiry about the error. As a result, Jordan received credit for her element that had been neglected before. Jordan on behalf of Team USA, earned her medal. Her routine with all elements accounted for placed her 3rd place. There was no taking a medal from Ana. The last gymnast to perform was Team USA represented byJordan. Jordan's routine placed her 3rd. The only person who ultimately had their routine not receive proper credit was Jordan of Team USA. The only person to have a medal stripped from her was Jordan of Team USA not Ana. The only person to receive racial insults was Jordan of Team USA.. In these comments some people try to make false equivalencies. No one else was cheated out of credit for their routine but Jordan not Sabrina not Ana. Here you see who is who with their comments. Some people will trip all over themselves to support Romanian interests over Team USA. Had the judges done their job properly the first time there would be no one talking about these matters.

She did step out of bounds, Her foot was on the very edge of the mat when she did that spin her foot went out beyond the mat thats out of bounds. When you spin leap or land your feet should be inside the mat and should not go outside but hers did.

​@AlexandruChirita-nb9vs going out of bounds is neither execution or difficulty. It is call penalty, which is the third score. Chiles coach placed an inquiry for difficulty score which was accepted. I'm not sure how/if you can challenge a penalty. Penalties are usually subjective to the judges view. In real time judges can't go back to view camera footage like we can. With that said judges make mistakes often. However, not crediting an element is much different than penalizing a person for placing their foot on the border aka out of bounds. Jordan had an open and shut case. We would still be arguing whether the other girl was oob. How about give yourself enough room so judges can't deliberate if you're in or out.

The judges were hoping to hold Jordan's scores down for the Roachmanians & other former Eastern Bloc nations. The judges were shocked when team Jordan filed a petition. They didn't know Jordan was a whole adult woman. They thought she would slink away & not petition to question their cheating. They got caught & had to correct their low scores. Now they shamefully took away Jordan's right to petition in order to give Jordan's medal to a cruddy, undeserving Roachmanian. Voinea has no case with, the out of bounds deduction because, the line judge raised the flag when, she went out of bounds. That is why they took the deduction the line judge saw her go out of bounds.

They should all get the bronze, but if you know about scoring in gymnastics, Voinea is the rightful winner. The out of bounds penalty is the most uncontroversial deduction. There has never been a world or Olympic final in history where the judges gave that penalty when the gymnast was not out of bounds because it's so easy to pinpoint if there was really a mistake. That .1 alone would have given her the edge over Chiles and and Voinea and then you can also argue that she had the cleanest routine without any visible errors on landing.

Btw I mean 4 seconds over the 1 minute dead line because you have to perform within 1 minute

Jordan has NEVER been credited the tour jeté foul internationally, even in the Olympics three different panels of judges did NOT credit her that skill during qualifications, team finals and Floor finals, and ONLY time she got it credited was from the superior jury (ONE PERSON) who was also the same person who accepted a late inquiry by her coach, by “coincidence “ lol. This is how “fair” she won it

She does not technically have a medal because they changed her score to the one that was in error. Greedy Americans?? American athletes earned their medals unlike Ana. If Ana can't understand about things someone should explain to her. You don't win by cheating another gymnast of the value of their routine difficulty level. That is cheating and rigging the game.
