The lyrics of this song reminds me of both Kira and lacus but also of Athrun and Cagalli. It seems to talk about how they were fighting to be together and slowly closing the distance between them. It talks about how their collaboration might put an end to war. It's such a beautiful song.

ngl it more reminds me of athrun and kira. since the lyric says that "the two of us can bring an end to this" which is reflected that both athrun and kira's effort is what effectively win the war and bring it to a close

This too especially with the ending scene of the 2 of them holding each other by the shoulders and we see Lacus and Cagalli on the left and right side of Kira and Athrun "flying" towards them. Justice and freedom on the backs of Athrun and Kira. It's an amazing ending. I just feel that this is a song that could very well be sang by Lacus or Cagalli for them.
