The vast majority of the folks that crossed into the country weren't coming for benefits. lol They came to work. The hardest working sector of our population are the immigrants. BTW, those nationalities have been trying (legally) to enter our country for eons. It just takes forever to get here. The minorities here were given free handouts and that's what destroyed their culture. If this is winning the race war, then I'd hate to see what would have happened if they lost. They went from having very good family lives prior to the early 60s (2 parents, children in school and college bound), to single parent homes dependent on the government. There are many statistics on this, but it doesn't stop politicians from wanting to give more free stuff. It never helps, it only hurts the groups that receive it.
