Oh man, they lost me after the third album... This song is the first that I heard, I guess it was back in 2002. I think they fucked it all up when they decided they were gonna play songs that Shakira could fit in haha still like the old stuff though...
@@panchopenumbra well, making songs is not as easy as you say. And sticking to the same kinda style as their first 3 albums for another 10+ albums? Man that would be too monotone and boring. Just appreciate what they make, cause I believe each and every song they made, they put their souls to it
@@KeisarPR I never said it was easy to make songs. To be true, making commercial hits is easier than making real music... But that is another thing... I can't appreciate all their albums because it became just another pop band, with no especial flavour to them. If you hear the first (Parachutes), the second (A Rush of Blood to the Head) and the third (X&Y) you will see they made different albums and I don't think they should make the same thing over and over. But you can't say "all albums" are great, because they are not. You don't need to love every album from a band to like their sound. Radiohead, for example, made some "not so good" albums and they are still one hell of a band, experimenting, changing and evolving. Aaand: they don't need to be on the radio to be relevant. Coldplay chose the path of pop hits and money.
Most of the so called "fans" only like Coldplay for songs like Paradise, A Sky Full of Stars, Adventure of a Lifetime, Princess of China... REAL fans love them for songs like this, Careful Where You Stand, Moses, One I Love, No More Keeping My Feet on the Ground, Prospekt's March, Gravity, For You... dude I could keep going all night lol
First open tuning song I ever learned. Not even that big a Coldplay fan. Btw... I also have that obligatory "oh-shit" moment when I have not played if for a while :p
+Wilbert Cubero i like coldplay for this , everything in x&y, parachutes, and a rush of blood to the head. now what got me listening to coldplay are 3 songs which are very nostalgic. 1. trouble 2. in my place and 3. dont panic (hands down all time favorite)
I tried listening to their latest album and I really struggled as its definitely made to appeal to a more modern and younger audience, which is fine. I just hope to hear them sing songs like this live one day. X&Y is one of my most favourite albums of all time.
He is off key when live, like most singers. But one thing about him and Adele is, even when off key, they will awaken your gooses like fucking hell. Your music touches my soul, Chris. It fucking makes me cry.
Pooja Menon Oh Yeah! You just described exactly what I feel when listening to Coldplay, Chris Martin's voice and singing is the most amazing thing ever.
I rlly rlly wish i was in this crowd so i could scream these lyrics this is one o my fav coldplay songs!!!:( pls coldplay do one last tour singing your old music
