As gardeners, we have to contend with many things: Weeds, pests, watering, harvests, etc. But one thing they forget to mention when you get into gardening, is seed addiction. The need to keep buying seeds, to get all the varieties to try, even though you don't have room to plant them all in your backyard garden. Also sorry about the lighting in this video. I just got a new camera and haven't figured out all the setting yet.

I DO NOT have a seed addiction, I just need more garden space. Therefore we are expanding the garden area by about 150 square feet and have put up a 450 square foot high tunnel. See, no problem!

The first step to overcoming the problem is to make more room for it. 😆

Can’t stop, won’t stop! 🙌🤣 (buying seeds) You really had me fooled there for a second at the beginning 🧐 “Your mom’s a radish eater”! Hey, that’s a pretty good insult 🤣 Especially after the radish I picked in my recent video 👀😂🤣 I’m such a child 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m going to have to check out Jess’ video with the bean recipe; I bought some epazote too 🌱 Spring is here in gulf coast Texas; so I’m planting ALL THE THINGS outside 🙌 Great video my friend!

Haha I'm glad my Accent ruse worked. Yes I'm going to start calling my friends radish eaters here and there and see how it hits. 😄 You're garden is looking amazing, just finished your video from this morning. And thanks!

This is the smartest addiction you can possibly have considering the state of the world and our food supply

This year it has mainly been beans... I had no idea there were so many varieties and colors! I'm mostly building a resilient collection of things that I'll seed save and share with others for the rest of my life, so the investment is long term. There are a few other things of interest to me that I'll pick up extra varieties of this year as well, but the end goal is to not need to spend money and buy more seeds every year just to have a productive garden and food in storage...

Saving beans are great! For some reason I find them easier to store than other seeds. My main one has been scarlet runners, but I need to start including more varieties.

@@oneseedoneworld I ordered a bunch of pole beans and a few bush varieties as well. Scarlett runners are probably going to be picked up as an add-on to my last spring order this year. The ones I picked up that I think should be interesting/productive/resilient are: Hidatsa Shield Figure, Khabarovsk, Kebarika, Tiger's Eye, Calypso (aka Orca), Bosnian Pole, Trebulino Di Domenico, Genesis (Lima), Neptune (Lima), and finally one called Skunk Bean from Kentucky. Combined with Cupidon green beans (which can also be saved as a dry bean), I should be good for awhile haha. Though one or two more varieties of green beans might be a good thing to add in the coming years... (I don't have a problem. YOU have a problem!) lol Thanks for the good video BTW.
