oh wow, this is great. Having the ability to load the applets onto blank cards straight from the seedsigner is pretty clutch. Great video.

I really think it deals with some of the major shortcomings with SeedSigner, still have some improvements to make as well :)

@@CryptoGuide I just put one together with the PN532 module and its working well! after I figured out I needed to physically enable I2C via the switch on the board (doh!). Having an easy secure way to flash the cards and then also transfer the seed to card in such a small footprint package is really awesome. Good work!

@@chaosreigns4390 Nice work getting it going via I2C, I really like the form factor as well. I forgot to mention the dip switches on the board in the video, so will have to add that to the documentation ;)

What a great way to securely manage seed phrases and passphrases - especially in a multisig setup when there's so much to manage. Thanks for your contributions. I wonder if this could be done with Krux.

On the raspi4 design with the interference issues, did you try any metallic shielding, maybe on the back of the display hat? I have no idea if that would help, just wondering

I haven't tested extensively yet, but the issue is that NFC isn't a normal wireless communication protocol, but is also a wireless power transfer mechanism, so adding shielding could actually make it worse... I am certainly keen to explore options around antenna placement, etc, more, but decided to stick with something simple and focus on the software side first :) (NXP have a few hours worth of videos on NFC antenna design that I haven't gone through that would cover it all and take the guesswork out)

Can a generic NFC reader be connected to seedsigner over USB?

If it's a NFC smart card reader then yes, but some generic ones will just be an RFID reader only

@@CryptoGuide so basically you can store seeds on a satochip and then gaplessly sign with seedsigner? Is there any difference between the satochip en the blank satochip they sell?

That's right. Basically the retail cards and the blank ones they sell are the same hardware.
