Interesting Suzanne. Crystals sound good for lamps but I think you have to take the whole colours of the picture into account. For example, shiny lamps could detract from other colours as in flowers etc. Depends where you want the focal points to be.

Do the lamps in crystals and see how they look. They can always be taken out if they don’t look right. I think it’ll give it an interesting glow-y feel

I think if I was doing this, it would just do them in regular drills. However, crystal drills would be pretty too. But I’m not a big one to switch things up. I’m sure either way, it’ll be gorgeous.

Love seeing the progress! I vote for crystal lamps, but normal windows. Maybe you can add a few crystals to the doorhandle too since it's supposed to be metal 🤔

I love working on it - even the rope edge 😂 Oh now you see I didn't even think of the door handle and now I'm thinking if I change the lamps or windows then maybe I could do metallic for the door handle. EEeeeekkkk too many options. Appreciate you watching and commenting ✨

lol! Oh I definitely am just as excited! and such a great idea, too! You're gonna have so much fun with that. I recently used yellow crystals in the top of a lighthouse on a diamond painting instead of regular drills and it really made it look like it was lit up! I was so happy with the result and was (am) glad that I chose to do that instead of using normal drills! Have fun with those lanterns! I know it's gonna look so good when it's done! Wow that canvas is huge! May I ask how big it is? I think you should do Crystal's for the lamps, but do the windows as they are charted. Have a wonderful day 💗

I think you should leave the windows as they are. In the yellow lamps I think crystals will fit but if it was me I would put in yellow glow in the dark drills. But the painting looks whimsical and happy even without any changes ❤

Hmmmmm….. 🧐 I think possibly the lamps in crystal but I’m a no for the windows. Looking at the overall picture, I’m not sure I would add any “bling” - not sure that it has a bling suitable vibe. Having said that, my eye was drawn to the wings of the bees, think I might have tried some clear crystals in those for a teeny subtle pop of difference.🐝
