I had such a great time meeting and racing with these guys. Seekonk is very different than the track I'm used to but it was a blast to run on, can't wait to go back and do it again. Thank you TBERG for doing what you do, it was great to finally get to meet you! 👍

Problem for the camaro and the vette is the goodyear eagle F1 supercar 3 tires they come with. Those tires were designed for road course racing and provide excellent traction when they are hot. One lap at a time with a waiting period in between races ain't gonna get them up to optimal temp. My 2018 ss 1le will spin the tires easily at half throttle in 2nd, just rolling into it. First gear is completely useless.

@Frank I hear you but I also doubt most of these guys run stock tires on these babies, those 2 black F's are a bit fast to be stock otherwise too and at least have some basic suspension mods. I hear you loud and clear on Camaro gears too, I haven't used 1st gear for the first 12 months of owning my SLP, it always seemed so short, loud and it took me another year to learn the effective way of clutching through it, didn't help the 1st owner used a shorter final gear upping the stock 3.42 ratio my car came with...in 4th at 3k I'm only going 50mph and my speedo is off by 15mph @ 105mph. But you're absolutely correct about 2nd gear take-offs👍 many owners do it.

I thought the smoke was the oil pooling in one side of the engine...typical GM problem that has existed for decades... And don't bring a Porsche to a race track if you can't drive it...
