Can you use the games on ball chaser as training data? Like put seer in the position of each ssl on the field and then have it make a decision on what it would do and then lose points if it was not what was played.

Will it be eventually possible to use games against pros as training data for Seer? Or would the dataset forever be too small to be useful?

Psyonix should be a able to make an account for verified bots, that people can chose not to play if they don't want to, but if they do, the MMR gains/losses only count towards the bots' account. That way no actual players get hurt or helped by playing bots (basically training), but the bots get to cultivate their own MMR. Even if bots don't get allowed in the rankings, their MMR could tell you what level they are compared to actual players.

We need to see it VS a player like Dark or someone that moves fast using wave dashes. After observing these bots it comes to mind that they don't recognize wave dashes leaving space. A player like Dark is constantly wave dashing so it would be interesting to see if the bot counters it or gets completely destroyed.

Do you ever think it would be possible to make a unbeatable bot? Of course, this bot is unbeatable for 99% of players but do you think you could ever achieve a bot that is just way beyond human ability, perfectly pinching it into the net from everywhere on the pitch or is that not realistic

Question: Do you use the replays of these games for training the bot? Feels like it could learn something from them.

does seer have access to info within the games live memory that we dont as players, and make decisions/calculations based on it? or is it just reactive to the ball placement/speed on the field? (for some examples, making decision based on opponents placement on the field via xyz coords/the angle of their hitbox/speed they travel at before impacting the ball etc.)

Could you get Dark to 1v1 Seer? I think he is one of the very few player who would not really struggle against Seer cause of his very air, flip reset and dash focused playstyle

Whenever a BOT becomes so advanced, it basically beats out humans in every aspect, I feel as though the best next step would be to implement an artificial reaction time that's similar to our own. It's way too large an advantage otherwise, and will never be proper practice material for a human because of it.

Do you ever include games against human players as part of training the bot to try to get it to learn new techniques like flip resets? I know the bots do many thousands of games against itself in training and one or 2 games is small compared to that but I was wondering if it might have an effect. I thought it might knock it out of local minima. Also do you do any training packs with it on its own?
