If you're prepared to wade through a plethora of Chinese watch 'brands' these days, there are some real gems to be snapped up - Seestern are definitely one of the best examples.
Love Seestern watches. They’re really well built and an absolute bargain. I’ve got the turquoise dial and I bought a couple of their rubber straps which are great value. Just bought their 600T in orange with the ceramic dial. I seriously thought about getting the Doxa, but the Seestern has thoroughly scratched the itch. I recommend you check one out Rob. 👍
I have this exact model and it's one of the most comfortable watches I've ever worn. The build and finish is on par with certain watches that are easily double its price. It's perfect on a 20mm Isofrane.
You can see on camera the defects in the finish. Lots of scratches and dings, in other reviews the bezel has had lots of play which means quality control is not all that there.
@@corail53 I watched this video twice, and I don't see any real problems. I see minor bits of lint. I see slightly imperfect brushing on the case in the roughly 2 o'clock area of the case. I don't see actual dings and scratches anywhere. Maybe I am missing something. Also, this watch is begging to be kinda scratched and dinged because it is a dive watch and they are meant to get beat up a tad bit. Just my 2.5 cents.
Rob nice video. Sort of funny when you say doxa dropped a “military-style” dial version. It’s not military style it’s the original! Haha. If anything these are “army-style”.
So ive had a Doxa Sub 300 on my mind for a year, but im currently saving up for my grail. Do you think the seestern will scratch the itch? Is it worth the $180? They look like damn good value for a sub $200 Doxa homage. Love the channel Rob!
@@BlissBatchi picked one up two months ago, paid $164, worth every single penny. I am still blown away how well built these are. Its my favorite watch i own, even more than swiss watches i have worth 10x the price.
I have the same watch, fantastic for the money… you may want to check out the 6105 homages made by Rdunae . You may find like me that it’s the 6105 that Seiko should have made..they make both the Willard and the “slim” turtle models that are simply fantastic for the money…
I’ve been looking at the Seestern ‘Doxa’ for a while, and everything I’ve heard tells me they’re a properly decent watch. But, I’m wondering if anybody has actually pressure-tested them to see if they can hold up their claimed WR? If so, that would be gravy.
It’s great we have the option to get these for so cheap. For normal wear or to hold ya over till the Doxa arrives. Either way it’s extremely great option.
