"Nobody Praying For Me" is from Seether's album "Isolate And Medicate". Our goal in creating this video is for people to educate themselves and make an informed decision on their own, rather than being told by any media outlet saying, this is what you should be thinking, this is what is right, explains Morgan. The whole point is to try and shift the way we look at things and to not always leap to our pre-conceived conclusions, which is mostly racially and profile-based, because that’s what we get fed all the time. 4/14/24 Wharf Amphitheatre Orange Beach I finally got to see SEETHER live! This and Out of My Way are my favorite SEETHER songs and I finally got to see them play this live! Went with my 21 yo son and it's a memory neither of us will ever forget!! SEETHER STAIND SAINT ASONIA AND TIM MONTANA AT THE SAME DAMN TIME!! Shaun and Aaron's voices are still fooking AMAZING! I'm 53 and been to a lot of shows in my life. This is second only to Korn 2004 in Pensacola. I never thought anyone would come close to that show, but this one did! I highly recommend it! If they come back, we'll see them again! Also, the Wharf Amphitheatre is the best venue I've ever seen a concert at-anywhere! JJ -South Alabama

It's really okay for a perfect stranger to care about someone they've never met. And Susan seemed like she needed a virtual hug. Susan, I obviously meant no offense, I'm 57 years old and I've been where you are a couple of dozen times. I just think that given the chance, given the venue, given some opportunity, that you could be the center of some well deserved attention. You posted your feelings and me and Skeeter responded. At least two people cared about what you said and there's probably another two dozen that read what you posted and didn't respond. And as for not knowing what would drive you to feel the way you do? Walk a mile in my shoes and you wouldn't walk another inch more. I posted what I did because you sounded like you felt like I have a hundred times in my life. I'd still pray for Susan, because sometimes somebody does gives a fuck. You influence people every time you post in a public forum. I sincerely hope you're having a better day. Of course it's easy to write me off as another old, inconsequential geezer. But when someone my age knows the lyrics to Seether, Shinedown, Haelstorm, Theory of a Deadman, Pop Evil, Tantric, Skillet. Breaking Benjamin. In This Moment, The Pretty Reckless, Saint Asonia, Alterbridge, and another five dozen rock bands, I hope you realize I've been there and done that. I know I scare kids at concerts. That old dude knows the tunes better than they I do. But I also know the kids around me. They're good people. All they need to know is everyone has felt the same as they have. And live music cures the mortal soul. No matter how old you are.

My friends and I saw Seether at Northern Invasion this year. They sounded phenomenal. We wanted to watch another band that was playing, but the crowd was so packed we couldn't get out. So we did the only "rational" thing that a couple of teenagers would do.. we crowd-surfed our ways out to this song. It was hands down one of the greatest moments of my life. 🤘🏻

Everyone holds their own personal stereotypes... EVERYONE! It is just a result of witnessing human action over the course of many years. I wonder how many people judge me based on my appearance or attitude, and wonder if I am also judging them. It is done on such a subconscious level, almost ingrained in us. Maybe our own insecurities fuel the problem, but I think that everyone just wants to feel like they can live their lives without fear. All I can say is that since I decided to reject religion and the idea of a higher power, I have found myself less judgmental of others. Funny how religion fuels hatred, nonacceptance, and the need for conformity. I am truly free now, and this song only reinforces my beliefs. Good on Seether!!!!

And a good example is how right now in America, (because of extremist groups) people are discriminating against all Muslims because people are confusing a peaceful religion with radical ideas of terrorist groups. Therefore, innocent civilians and their children are being made to feel unsafe in school, work, at home and even having their sacred places of worship protested against. I am not religious myself, but when I did go to church, the Christians constantly preached about how the other religions were wrong and failed to realize that they were discriminating against other religions the same way Christians were discriminated against in the bible. I too have accepted the idea of a higher power and I can be accepting of all people, no matter religion, appearance, or attitude because everyone laughs and cries in the same language and if we understand our own feelings, we can put ourselves in other people's shoes in order to be empathetic to the feelings of others. ( Seether is my favorite band ) Rock On!!!!

+JLdeathisonyourcards I think you misunderstand me. I reject the idea of any higher power. The same people that refuse to accept homosexual couples because of biblical rule also refuse to cast their wives and girlfriends out of their homes during menstruation, even though the bible clearly states that they are impure, and should not infect the home. I have never been forced to live in a tent in the yard due to my menstrual cycle, and this SHOULD be considered an afront to god and his rules. However I have learned that "Christians" pick and choose the rules that they live by, and refuse to conform to the human evolution, despite the fact that they expect conformity from everyone else.

But of course it's not religion that hates, or does any other bad thing. Religion-- any religion-- can't think or do anything. Individuals have to do that. All of us are different. It's what each of us think or do about our understanding, or interpretation, of the ideas of a particular religion that causes the bad things you mention, not the religion itself. One person can draw inspiration from a particular religion and become a crazed serial killer. Another can draw inspiration from that same religion and become a great humanitarian.

this video is obviously not anti-police. it is showing both sides and the message at the end is saying there is discrimination. but where it lies is beyond what the media wants you to believe. this video is trying to bring light to the fact that these police officers were just trying to do their job and that if the boys (or men not sure) would have just followed their procedures like the man in the house then none of them would have gotten shot. also please be aware that one of the police officers is black!!

Sorry I disagree somewhat. Seems clear the message here is the cops are discriminating against this boy because of his skin color, and that is the message. Meanwhile no videos or content about all of the black on black violence and killings of cops/citizens by gangs let alone the lives ruined and the deaths caused by the narcotics they push. The new urban myth "blacks are unfairly targeted by police", ~400 whites are killed by cops every year, ~200 blacks are killed by cops, very rarely its a bad shooting. We live in an age of cultural lies and its propagated by the entertainment industry and media all for leveraging political votes.

I know I'm a little late to the game but the cop isn't discriminating in this one, the dispatcher clearly said African-American male wearing a dark jacket. Now don't get me wrong there is a lot of discriminations and racism and hate I just don't think that's what they were going for in this video.

Have to say one of my favorite bands. This song is so strong against racism and violence within the police force. This band always has strong lyrics this is why there one of my favorite bands of all time just wish they had tour dates in Albuquerque NM

Our goal in creating this video is for people to educate themselves and make an informed decision on their own, rather than being told by any media outlet saying, this is what you should be thinking, this is what is right, explains Morgan. It's the uniform. There was a study back in the 70's I think that a collage did and they made a mock prison,eventually the students that were to portray the officers turned like,crazy violent on the other kids. It was really creepy to think that your best friend can flip a switch like that!

I understand that there is always more than one side of a story. But people make things more complicated than they need be. For example. If you have nothing to hide you are 100% innocent in WHATEVER it is you are being accused or connected with then simply comply. "Hey! Hands up!" You fucking got it dude. Here are my hands because once it comes to light that I am innocent then I week be set free. Easy as that. Of course there are ass holes who think they are badasses whether they be on the side of the police or on the side of the accused perp. But once the line is crossed that you get snappy or don't comply, the game is over. It's not about race. Every race whether it be white, black, brown, blue, purple or even pokedotted has respectable beings and unrespectable ones. Racism on either side will never end as long as there is hate in the heart.

+Mighty Mouse There's some truth to what you're saying however, you're coming from the angle of the police are ALWAYS right, and ALWAYS make right decisions. Police are human-beings that have the same bias as everyone else, and the only difference is, they hold a position of power. Which means, they should be held to a higher standard and not let their own biases get in the way of upholding the law. There are things that cops do that are in clear violation of the very law they are sworn to uphold. My point is, a person can comply and do everything a cop says, and STILL get shot, or roughed up without cause. Being obedient, while increasing your chances of survival, doesn't guarantee it, as you seemed to be suggesting. There was a case about year ago, where a cop pulled over a motorist (he was black), and asked for his DL. Well, when the driver reached in the glove department to get his DL, the cop IMMEDIATELY opened fire. Now, you could say that this could happen to a white person and it could, but not at the frequency that happens to people of color. The truth is, anyone that isn't white, to some people, is equated with bad or something that is perceived to be dangerous. That's a prejudice bias that ordinary people have, let alone cops have. So, the notion that if you just do as you're told (which, I'm not arguing against, by the way) that you'll be fine, isn't always the case, and to be frank, is easy to say if you're not seen as an immediate threat because of the hue of your skin. By, the way, this is coming a person who is white. And then, there are some cops that just shouldn't have a badge, and a weapon, because they get drunk on the power. Some people can't handle having authority, because it corrupts them.

I invoke the right to remain silent. (oh, and i film any police stop for proof in court of any misconduct or crimes committed by the officer.)
