One instrument element that I find very useful in general is the altitude history, which I have on flyskyhy, it allows me to see in a graph if I have been climbing or descending relative to time, so I know if the line I am flying if lifty or even if I need to turn back to recover altitude. I find it super useful in week conditions.

Hola Luis. Me alegro que te haya gustado el video. Después descubrí que sí se puede. Tienes que ir a Menu>Navboxes&Layouts>Layout y ahí lo configuras. Pronto voy a hacer un video del nuevo instrumento y ahí lo explicaré :)

Great review! Like the look of the app. So far I prefer XC Track, but if Naviter adds some features I would consider it as an alternative. Especially for iPhone users. Ist there also a side view of airspaces and Terrain?

ok, good video. but why would you say the app is free?! 🙄 ...one of the 1st feachures you describe are for fully paid members. (if you mean 1st month free- you should say- free for a month!) £9 a month is not free, or £53 per year is not free. thanks for sharing 🤝

Hi! Maybe I didn't explain myself well. When I say the app is free, I mean you don't have to pay for it on the App Store when you download it. :)

Joanna, buen video! Tengo unas preguntas, que tal va de consumo de batería usándolo con el xctracer? Has usado la app, sin sensores externos, únicamente con el sensor barométrico del teléfono? Saludos.

Mi teléfono es bastante nuevo, así que he podido volar una hora y todavía me queda batería cuando aterrizo, pero recomiendo tener una batería externa si lo vas a usar para vuelos más largos. La verdad es que nunca lo he usado sin el variómetro externo, ¡tendría que probar! Saludos :)

Hi Lloyd. I use a Mous case on my phone that has a couple of holes for a lanyard. I used a sheathed paragliding line and a small carabiner. I then mount it on a phone tripod mount (only the phone part), put some velcro on it and place it on my cockpit. Now I think I should make a video about it! :)

I didn't use it yet, But i would like to see how airspace warning works. Because that is the most important thing to me for now. I want to make some XC flights and see where i can and cannot go. Maybe it will be self explaining when i start to use it🤔😊

Hi! The airspace warnings are very nice and clear and are shown on top of the screen. The sound warning is nice enough to catch your attention, but it doesn't sound like an apocalypse warning as in the older Oudie. Give it a go and you'll see that's pretty straightforward :)

Hi! As far as I know, the app doesn’t have a vario sound. You need to use an external vario and link it to your phone via bluetooth.

Not that I’m aware of. But you can use it to show up on the OGN.

Hola Hugo Las balizas las cargas desde el SeeYou en la página web. La versión gratis te deja cargar una sola colección y con la paga, puedes cargar todas las que quieras. Saludos!

Hi! I'm glad you liked the review. The app and the Omni do the same thing because they both run the same app. The difference are the sensors. On the Omni/Oudie, the sensors are built in and on your phone, the sensors depend on the phone you have or on the external vario you're using. Also, the Omni has Fanet+ built in, so if you'd like to have that feature while running the app on your phone, you'd need an external vario with Fanet. :) Thanks for watching!

J'utilise un support de trépied pour portable avec du scratch derrière et à cette époque-là, un stylus courant pour portable avec du scratch aussi. Que du bricolage! Mais, actuellement j'utilise le XCPen qui est très sympa 😀

Ok, so I finally have a vario with Bluetooth. I downloaded the app due to your recommendation and…. Bummer! It disconnects from the vario after 3min unless you buy a subscription… Anyway thanks for a nice video!

Wow, that's odd. You need to create an account and use the app for free. The only limitation you'll have is that you'll only be able to use one waypoint collection and other advanced features, but you should be able to use without any issues (I did before I had a suscription)

@@MeHow4k LilyGO T-ECHO SoftRF 60€. It has Flarm (Tx and Rx, or can switch between Fanet, P3I. OGNTP. I would recommend keep it on Flarm). It also has a pressure sensor (get the version with BMP280). It can transmit Flarm and Vario data to SYN via bluetooth.
