The level select feature is pretty cool. Emulation speed looks good, but we all know Atgames has problems emulating the Genesis/Mega Drive sound.

I played a few plug and plays when i was a kid probably a Frogger and Ms. Pac-Man plug and plays. Ive been playing my original Genesis with mono sound for the past 12 years. The sound on the Sonic games is okay at best. All the games look playable.

The problem is not that ATGames was doing what they are always doing... it's that all the companys have gone cheap. I mean the PS1 classic was obvious, but Nintendos were cheap emulation devices themselves. At least they could have tried the effort to use existing code and go with FPGAs, therefore rather justifying the price for a collectable item from the perspective of engineering. That's how you crush childhood memories of those who care about a particular product.

The games seem to run well and having them all in the controller is a fast neat way to play them ,as for the audio I wouldnt mind a little change in the music or sound effects even though the music is a big part of these classics, but batterys I'm not a fan of, if it was powered by the TV then It would be better ,the pad look cool.

Damn, that composite AV output on an LCD TV looks like total arse. I've got a few of these Sega plug plays and on my CRTs they don't look anywhere near this bad

Still surprises me how many atgames products we got. They really buried SEGAss credibility for a while as they were licensed. Thankfully DEGA came to their senses with the mega drive mini. Great video as always.

Consoles not bad I like it the whole thing about ruined it is the horrible sound chip.one other thing this may be an American product struggling on an international pal TV and not a ntsc type TV for a reason of why they sound is sounding very bad during the gameplay. I have a Jack's Pacific plug and play Sega Genesis that's a controller and a Genesis console that's built in line with both the controller cord and TV out cable and it has five built-in games and great stereo sound but no safe States or pick a level system like this one.

The sound is not good because it's mono and they use only one channel or maybe because it's emulated. the d pad is nice looking but not so responsive, lets plug and cry ........ 😃😿😿😿

The video emulation looks fine but the sound is awful and the controls are horrible and do some of these games start on later levels like altered beast and sonic 2 wtf!?
