The first time I made a ball shaped bowl with a lid, I used many types of wood making a good color combination, for finishing I used beeswax #mayukowoodturning #segmentedwoodturning ETSY For purchase : www.etsy.com/shop/Mayukoindon...
I can’t believe you were able to turn that blank round without gluing the halves and by the tail stock pressure alone. You impress me every time I watch one of your videos. Beautiful work as usual
Love it! think the design is great and the handle which at first I thought was too long really looks in proportion when assembled 👍👍You do really have some beautiful woods, you lucky lad! 😊😊Obviously took a great deal of time so thanks for sharing, regards, Tony(UK)
Thanks for your attention and watching my video, it took me 1 week to finish this work, but in that 1 week I made some projects too, so time is not wasted
Recently found you. GREAT WORK!! Need to ask, you say that your finish is bee's wax, what it the mixture? Looks too thin to be just bee's wax.. Thanks, Jack
Jack, being in the tropics beeswax stays soft in the tin, mine is the same, although sometimes I use walnut oil as an additive to give a different finish.
