Ok so I just received my own lol. Words can’t describe how much better this rides the other e scooters. Ridiculously smooth. Also, the acceleration is NUTS.
This was the best review of this scooter I've seen so far , definitely one of the best revivers on RU-vid scooter looks to be worth every penny thanks for this review
Great review. With multiple range tests done at different speeds and a climbing and break test on the hills. Very informative. One of the best reviews on this scooter.
Great review 👏 👌 I also love my GT2 ! Great comfortable ride. It's like a Lexus on 2 wheels ! Mine reaches 73.6kph top speed. No complaints so far. Be safe! Always wear proper gear. 🙏
That's why many bike trails begin to make law to ban ALL motorized vehicles, and that means those who just want to relax on a slow moving ebike can not enjoy their ride anymore.
This scooter is the greatest! i could not decide between the wolf king gt pro, and the segway gt2 so i purchased both. i really like the futuristic design of this scooter. this scooter is easy to ride at any speed, very stable, and fast, with the ability to choose slower or less powerful settings, including walk speed, settings. Great work segway!
Great review! I'd like to see Yogi Steve at Electric Scooter Academy do his delivery thing in and around Hollywood. Wonder how this epic scoot would hold up to his style of riding.
I m a long time cyclistband I m all for ebike however I detest the way people buying into "the fastest ebike". At 20 mph is plenty fast anymore than that people should buy a scooter so they won't cause problem for people on the trail/street.
you put so much effort in creating this great content, ..please share you links to the music you use, ...it means a lot to some of us out here. -thanks in advance!
In stupid germany a friend took 1350euro penalty for not having insurance. And if it is powerfull than 500w . It is illegal. So i love Romania , best country in Europe
I like the concept and the looks of this machine, but I expected more power and range. I'll wait for the revised model or the big brother. I currently own a Kaabo Wolf King GT which in terms of power, range, speed etc. wins over this one, but I'm interested. When they offer me (and folks like me) something that powerful, I'll probably jump!.
@@ElectricRevolution I can't really call a scooter that weighs over 100 lb a commuter though b/c you can't lift it up stairs to a subway platform for example.
You did the review on the Nanrobot LS7+ and I have to ask/say both of these scooters are big for me at 116lbs and 61 inches in height, I like the LS7+ and was just about to order it. What is your suggestion? The price range is wild as Ninebot sales the Segway E200P an actual Electric moped for $2300 USD but it's not in America yet. I'm using as an commuter scooter but I do like adding bigger battery packs to my scooters and hit gravel roads every now and then. Thanks for your reviews.
Don't order the ls7+ I had it.. and that thing is unstable as shit, even with steering dampner.. yes it goes 58mph.. and a turbo mode... But it's not the same quality as this scooter.. and also it has a key lock there is no security measure to keep someone from rolling it off. And mine started to brake down after a week . Breaks squeezed, then a got a flat fairly easy , and I don't ride these things hard like most . Segway is a much better value
pretty sweet. I just use a 66cc 2 stroke motor on my bike and it goes about 65km with wide open throttle takes a minute to get there but its decent for $185
@@RicardoR5 speed isn't the only factor that's important in a scooter. The weped goes 120 kph but thats about the only thing it has going for it that's also what it's build for. You have to look at the whole picture
Problem I Am saying with all these new scooters with moulded custom handlebars is that there is nowhere to add accessories. You can see here that your phone holderit. I think you are using the grip to mount it on, which doesn't leave much space for your left hand. Pretty big oversight for a $6000 scooter.
Serious now... You will pay for this scooter?? No my friends... NO!!! Our friend make his "job" .. no hard feelings... Ok understand... Segway make good "Presents" to reviewers (low cost commercial).. You don't find nothing wrong....?? Cool bro, you are the best!! Why truth is so difficult.....🤷
Cheers for the great review! Just to put size and speed in context, are you familiar with Weped, Dualtron, Nami, Kaabo Wolf or Rion scooters? You'll then appreciate the specs of the Segway are just average...with a very high price!
Yeah, I am and those are more sporty, off road insanely fast, those are like the Ferrari, Porsche and Lambo type of scooters, this is like the Maserati or Rolls Royce. They put the money into different features
@@ElectricRevolution Fair comment! I see many reviews of scooters that promote "insane" speeds of what I consider pretty average. Of course, speed is not the quest for most scooter riders and your review promotes a lot of the Segway's desirable features. I too, do more cruising on mine, rather than explore it's top speed of around 90 km/h. My modified Kaabo Mantis is great at around 45 km/h and less damaging if one were to fall off!! (always wear a full face helmet, gloves and pads) Keep up the good work and happy scooting! :)
The top speed isn’t as high as the beast scooters, but the acceleration’s still great. And while the Wolf King GT Pro I own goes way faster . This goes faster than most people would ever go on a regular basis. Only psychos ride a Dualtron or Kaabo at 55mph+ lol. I’d bet money in most conditions people wouldn’t even be riding a GT2 at top speed very often. And the fit and finish of this is unmatched. I love my Wolf King but I do want to get a GT2 when I can afford one. And while fast is relative, 40 on my wolf king already feels dangerous to me. The sense of speed on a scooter makes you feel like you’re going a whole lot faster than you are. My scooter can hit 64mph (insane lol) I typically go around 30-35
Has Segway fixed the exploding battery problems that exist in other models ? Warnings should read - Don't leave plugged in , don't charge unit while not at home, don't leave unit near flammable materials...
@@ElectricRevolution thanks for reply 👍 I really appreciate it. I do have 2 cars I really need a foldable scooter it's really helpful. Because when my car has a check engine I'll take it to volkswagen certified mechanic and leave it there and go home with scooter i don't need a taxi or Uber just scooter.
Mate, where about is Fish Lake NP located ? I want to do a scooter tour through some US / Canadian national parks in future and the area looks to be ideal to let my GT1 rip
@@lordaizen3135 For you that’s probably true. For me I ride 2.5 miles but my work charges $400 annually to park. My scoot already saved the gas and parking pass
Im so sad when im see this. In germany we can drive shitty 20kmh and the scooters have a maximal range of 60 to 80 km. We living in different universe’s :(
It’s stupid honestly. I have ridden my old scooters which tops out at 30km/hr and my current one at 70km/hr and I feel safer keeping up with traffic on the faster one. Can’t explain how many times I almost got side swiped by a impatient driver vs the new one where drivers treat me like a motorcycle and gives me a very big following distances
hello there! do you know if you can deactivate the setting that after 5sec of not moving the scoot goes into park mode? it would suck if i have to change it again and again in every red light. anyone can help?
