@@philm7890 if it says $49 for you then I'm assuming it's a scam so I'd advise you to not get that one. The one I bought retails for $900 in Australia and possibly less in the U.S. But $49 is too low to be the RRP

I've been homeless since I was 16. I'm 28 now with epilepsy and can't drive. Just got my first home and juat bought one of these! Moving up in the world and I'm so ready to stop carrying myself on my own two feet everywhere! My days of endurance walking 10 miles to get food is OVER!!! Got my F40 a few months ago. She's been an absolute delight. I chose it instead of the MAX since I didn't need as much range as the MAX offers. It's also a few pounds lighter (important since I have to carry my scooter into my apartment). No regrets!

Hi, curious question. Someone rode by my house on what I think is an f30 or f25 (doesn’t have the orange clasp). It made a loud whirling/whistling noise, does the f40 do this? It was kind of annoying. My m365 and GoTrax Apex don’t do this. I’m considering the f35(Costco’s f40, lower price, same specs)

Еха, благодаря за коментара! За съжаление ще трябва да те разочаровам - София е едно ужасно място за каране на велосипеди и скутери, особено ако се излезе извън идеалния център. Пловдив и Бургас имат далеч по-развита инфраструктура. Голяма мъка е обикновено да заснема приятно изглеждащи кадри в градска среда когато ревюирам скутери :) Но пък това е магията на видеата и може да се фокусираме върхъ по-хубавата част от града. Ще прегледам и VInghen - виждал съм проекта и се надявам да продължат да се развиват. Надявам се въпреки моя критичен отговор, да бъдеш приятно изненадан от София когато се върнеш. I prefer larger tires - they help a lot in case the roads are bumpy and overall feeling is much better with 10''-ers.

Hey! I heard all of the new F models have bad acceleration (no real boost) and performance when going up a hill, compared to the likes of Xiaomi mi pro 2. At least those F models (f.e. F40E) sold in Europe. Do you have the same experience?

In my opinion the acceleration is similar. But I haven't tried the F40E in particular.

It is combined - the sensor is in the handle.

As someone who uses the F30 daily, I absolutely love it...... Until ninebot released a firmware update which completely screwed up performances for people who owns the F30 and F40 series. Many people (myself included) reported massive battery drain and performance issues. I went from being able to do 15km at 25km/h on sports mode (i'm on the heavier side) to only being able to reach 7km and barely capable of reaching 20 km/h on sports mode. Some people were able to update to a later firmware that fixed the issue while many don't even have the update for the later firmware. Many have complained to the ninebot service team since march and they've been saying fixes will be available in april, may and now june still nothing.

Question on this model at Sam’s Club …the F30S….version…..can you replace the battery or upgrade the the battery at all? Can you do it yourself…..or does it have to go back to Segaway perhaps? Thanks 🙏

If it is an authorised by Segway service point - I guess it will work fine. There are controllers and firmwares involved, so it's good that someone qualified for the purpose takes care of it. As for upgrades - theoretically possible, but doesn't seem to be easily doable.

Is there a speed drop off as battey level goes down? Like is sport mode sustainable until 10%? Or does it go to max 15khp at 50%

It is more of a power drop - the scooter accelerates a bit slower when levels are lower.

The F40 has larger rider rating (120kg) when compared with the Max (100kg) which was the reason I decided on the F40 rather than the Max. I also think the F40 looks better than the Max.

Just got mine like a week ago and it is worth it. He says the bars don't fold in his video, but mine fold just fine. You are supposed to use the bell to latch them down and I am sure most people don't consider that.

Just got the f30, and I can't seem to change the speed modes. I tap the on button twice, but the display stays on D, which only gets as fast as 15 kms. Plus it's constantly beeping once I turn it on and is stationary. Any help would be much appreciated

Супер видео и много изчерпателно. Аз си взех F25E, което на външен вид е почти същото, само задния стоп е по-голям. Но определено батерията не е нещото което впечатлява. Но горе долу на големите килограми разделяме пробега на 2 и получаваме реалното. Аз минавам около 10-12 на D mode режима. Но пък когато имаш големи крака и си по-висок, платформата и големите колела ти дават усещане за сигурност, което е незаменимо! Продължавай все така ;)

Много хубав модел си избрал! Ninebot винаги са имали чудесни модели и сис сигурност - возенето е много комфортно. В градски условия, без да сме пестеливи - пробегът определено страда. Но пък с времето вероятно ще започнеш да се възползваш по-оптимално от склонове и сходни бонуси, за да изцедиш още някой-друг километър. Благодаря за чудесния коментар!

I just bought the F30S model here in Texas ….Sam’s Club stores are carrying this Europe model. My issue is I can’t register this item….called Segway I tried obviously 10 times with phone codes to try and activate my scooter. Ran out of verify codes for the day….Segway suggested to either return scooter or try again in 24 hrs. They told me there is an issue sometimes with app….and the only fix is after attempting to register it if it doesn’t allow me to verify by email or phone to uninstall the Segway app…..and try again for a fix. Do you have any suggestions on this …Thanks for your time.🙏

Okay is there a follow-up video as promised? Our interest is we're sitting here in the middle of the United States and at the local Sam's club and the f-30s is $450. That's a lot for a scooter. But the market prices say this is fair. It doesn't mean the whole market is just not overpriced. I'm looking at for somebody else. But I really really do appreciate your detail and demonstration of your f-30 scooter.

Hey, thanks for the comment. i decided to not do a follow-up video, as there have been a lot of other products to test as well. But I still keep the scooter around, so quite a lot of months later - it is still fine. Honestly - $450 for this one is excellent price. You won't get anything (much) better than that at the price. Components have become quite expensive throughout 2022.

It will be fine. COnstruction is solid and the motor is powerful enough. There will be optional seats, but I doubt there will be anything original available.

Hi, could you messure the distance from Deck to the top of the Handlebars? Got a G30 here for testing and that fits me well (1,95m, 95kg), but i would consider the F40 because of it's lighter frame for everyday commuting, if it's about the same hight.

I bought the F40 and it fits about as well as the G30. I couldn't compare side by side, because i had to return the G30 before i got my F40, but i'm very happy with it... even at 1,95m, 105kg at the moment... ^^

If you are looking for speed - you should think about some of the non-brand Chinese ones. From those with better quality - I'd favor the Ninebot and Xiaomi models.

Xiaomi 3 has a maximum weight of 220 lbs, segway f30e has a max weight of 120 kg, 265 lbs.

@@Ben-os8kd Can I ask why you think the 1S is better other than being cheaper? I'm trying to decide between the 1S and F30. I know the 1S is lighter vs F30 but the F30 has a steel frame, IPX5 rated, 10" tires. The 1S is aluminum, IP54 rated, with 8.5" tires Otherwise they're identical?

@@CN-pi8hq Bought one today and rode around for around half an hour at full battery, by the end i had no battery left and the app told me i had done 4km which is misleading seeing as they are said to have a range of up to 18 miles..

Looks very good, unfortunately this model is only allowed to drive 20 km/h in Germany and needs an insurance license plate. Everything is over-regulated here. Climbing performance also seems to be worse.

I just sold my Vsett 9+ (1350w motors in total), to buy the F40. I love the F40. I hated the Vsett, due to it's weight (29kg), and the general feel of tuned-up tin can with great suspension. The F40 feels like a modern Macbook Pro compared to the Vsett being a very fast Windows 98. Unless of course, if your goal is to go fast, the 9+ is great. It accellerates like crazy.

Never had a problem with the Mi Scooter's disk brake, but indeed - sometimes it could be challenging. This is why the scooter also relies on the front motor electronic brake.

What the Mi 1s follow up should of been not the Mi E-scooter 3 (uses the same ol 1st-gen design but with a better Folding mechanism & Dual-brake pads). Anyway, these Ninebot F30 & F40 series are a great alterative to the Xiaomi 1S & Pro 2 model. Would rather get the F40 for sure but its $300 more than the Pro 2 so yeah 10"inch tyres is a killer feature for e-scooter now a days! 😁🛴
