I always like to hear someone wanting to do it themselves. I like the diy thing and this is for those who want a nice sounding unit at a lot lower price. I know there's exhausts out there for over $1,000.00 USD and I can't imagine paying that for an exhaust. Jmo. So for those who want to diy, here's the parts list. Hey boss, exhaust looks great! As you know, I have a villain as well and I might have to copy you partner because yours turned out so good, excellent workmanship!... However, I could be wrong I think Evo is selling a kit now but not sure...👍
I always like to hear someone wanting to do it there selves. Evo can't touch the price of mine. I like the diy thing and this is for those who want a nice sounding unit at a lot lower price. I know there's exhausts out there for over $1,000.00 USD and I can't imagine paying that for an exhaust. Jmo. So for those who want to diy, here's the parts list. Looks amazing. Maybe a little loud for my taste but it's definitely cool lol. Look forward to seeing how you do a rear bumper. The back end will look so much better with a full bumper.
I'm sending the ECU out in a couple of days. I reached out to Joel crane (MSC) and he said the exhaust is fine and a tune is better so definitely getting tuned. 14% more power and running cooler is a big plus!! So much more I'm gonna do in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for watching.
Guys, this is my video on my diy muffler. it sounds good but it may be too loud even tho the DB meter didn't show it. Looks so good too. I hope you like the video.
Me too. The ECU is heading to MSC right now and I probably won't get it back til after Christmas. Man, I'm pumped because MSC is close to releasing the clutch kit and even tho it feels strong I want it better for rock crawling in WV.
@@sxsoutcast7651 I bought the ECU tune on Black Friday but I've hesitated to mail it before the Xmas rush is over. Can you even imagine if it got lost in the mail? I wait.
This muffler is what getting ready to install. The other I used was way tooooo loud. Here it is. If you could get the villan and the cfmoto 950 zforce gen 2 for the same price, what one would you recommend? Also i watched a video of yours where it was smoking? What was the reason for that? I know you just got the sxs but any regrets or things you like more about the cfmoto?
That's a great question.the unit smoking was the belt getting hot. I thought it was a motor issue as well but it wasn't. If I were gonna buy either at the same price then I would take the Villain. For me, the villain has more to offer from wheel base, 72" wide and a way more comfortable ride and I get the confidence of all that when I crawl and climb because of that. If I were just kicking butt down the trails, mudding, it's the Moto. I would've kept mine if it wasn't for all the issues. I loved the look, all the upgrades I did and the performance when it would run. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter what you drive as long as it's what you want and you're having fun. I didn't help but it's a decision you'll have to make. You will not go wrong either way. I'm positive!!
I'm sure there is some kind of boost. All the crap inside of the stock muffler is restricting the exhaust hence holding the motor back. Even if it's a single horse bump, plus the sound it makes then I'll take it.
Nice, would you be able to make one for me? I’m in nj and think your in pa so definitely could swing by. But I would like a black muffler which I did find on Amazon
Amazon. $51.00 M-AUTO 2.5" Inlet and 3" Outlet Universal Muffler, Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Auto Accessories Tilt Tip for Car Pickup Trucks, 20" Overall Length, Chrome a.co/d/cSN95DX
Sorry last thing I want to let you know. These segways come extremely lean from the factory.. you just installed a more free flowing muffler that will further lean out your engine... please put a tune on it and richen her up!! I believe MSC tunes has great results with their tuning also increases horsepower considerably win-win! The next mod you need to make is upgrading your intake It is also extremely restrictive but first things first lol..
The ECU is out for a tune right now. Just sent it off AND I haven't even driven the unit with the new exhaust. So it'll wait til I get it back probably after Christmas. LOL. Thanks for the info tho, most ppl do not know this and I should put that out there in a video.
where do you know that they are lean - maybe the are rich gas and high pressure compresiın ratio and last silincer was squeezing can you tell more techniqly with proves
I myself do not have the proof. Main Street cycle tested the fugleman and it's the same ECU and they stated that the unit runs extremely lean and leaves room for a 14% improvement of power. That's the only proof I have and when I put the exhaust on the unit didn't want to rev above 3500 rpms. I would watch real talk power sports video on this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n6YcM9m_cW0.htmlfeature=shared
