Love the channel. A couple of quick recommendations if you want to wear the original strap. Not sure if these American products are available on your side of the world, but the 3M company's Scotch Guard spray does an excellent job of making fabrics stain-resistant. And Angelus Easy Cleaner is a gentle soap that can clean both fabric and leather when diluted in water. I use the latter on my leather dress shoes, afterward letting them dry before applying conditioner and finally shoe polish.
