Great video but why is it every video I see on RU-vid the main gripe is the inner compass bezel. This has to be very loose for a precise compass bearing. If it was stiff to turn it would be pretty useless, in my opinion, for its purpose - it can be a very useful tool when learnt how to use properly.
You’re right. These are NOS still available. Didn’t know they were from 2005. Thanks for sharing. Wow, really old model. The design cues are so different. Very dated design.
@@AndyinSG yes, a little dated but unusual and I always liked this one. There's only one retailer that carries them in the UK and they have been gradually increasing their prices as the stock goes down. Maybe a future classic?
@@S-Ltd1000 Usually they become sort of classic with prices going up slightly once it's discontinued. Take for instance the Monsters Gen2. Good condition ones can fetch up to 3x the prices when they were new. But I won't get Seikos just for flipping. Too much hassle.
This is old school stuff. Straight out of 2009-2010 era where gimmicky crowns and crown guards were the in-thing. I would remember because I was a fashion victim at that time wearing 53mm U-Boats. 😹
