The Sumo situation is seriously messed up. You couldn't even scratch it up that bad if you tried in the short time you had i. I guess its one of the perks of shooting RU-vid vids- you have evidence of the arriving condition on un-boxing videos, even if you don't end up posting them. Hope it gets resolved quickly Nice to see these side by side. I wouldnt mind adding a sumo to the rotation someday myself. Too many watches, not enough money or wrist time haha Keep it up Matt, I like your vids.

Nice video. Man that Sumo, I've had a Monster for 10 years wear it a lot, and its in much better condition than that. Hope you get your money back. If you don't mind me asking were did you get the Marine master from? I want one real bad, but wont buy of the net for that money I want to see the watch in the flesh first.

sucks but easy fixed if your inclined with some improvments as a reward like sapphire AR glass, buff out case and bracelet but return & refund is the best way to go; so how did you go returning it Matt?

A guy tryed to sell me a fake Omega saying he was selling the watch because he was ''used to wear a quartz'' and couldn't get used to the Omega... There're all kind of liers outthere, ridiculous ''reasons'' for sale are a good indicator you're treating with one.

photos are easy nowadays. always ask for fresh photos of the item. require that he make a specific hand symbol next to the watch to prove authenticity.

The Marine Master is a Seiko Grail. I own the Sumo I got mine off Amazon from premium Japan brand new . Sorry for your troubles on the Sumo that’s really messed up .

I believe it does. I think it's 45mm versus 44mm.

I bought a "new" turtle bracelet off ebay amd it was obvious they used pliers to attept to size the "new" bracelet 3 links had plier marks that they failed to take pics of.

You gotta love the Marine Master but for the price of the Sumo (new and unused) you can't beat it in terms of value. Since you have the MM, I wouldn't even worry about the Sumo. And to that Ebay seller... You're a friggin' crook mate! How's the MM running so far?

There are lots of opportunistic, dishonest people out there selling second hand watches for their own benefit but frustrate and offend their buyers. I am sorry friend you were a victim. Be careful next time. You can polish those deep scratches in nearby watch repair shops or jewelers or even have it serviced by SEIKO CENTERS.

I don’t like my mm300. The srp is much better,although they’re just 200m rather than 300m for the marine master. My mm300 would advance by 6-8 seconds/day whereas my srp would advance by 1 sec/day. The bracelet of the srp to me is of much better quality, although there’s no ratcheting. The mm300s bracelet just feels cheap as well as the included rubber strap. I’m really disappointed with my mm300, so much so that I have to check and measure the specs 2-4 times just to be sure my mm300 is not fake.
