@@TheDiveWatcherthe bracelet is nice, don’t mind the pin and collars but def prefer it to be screws. The clasp is a negative for sure, I think it has too many moving parts so it makes it feel tinny. Otherwise I like the style of it, way nicer than a MM300 bracelet.

It’s severely overpriced but nice nonetheless. I feel Seiko should included the ratcheting divers extension at $415 dollars or rather I strongly feel the bracelet should have come on all four models. What do you guys think the color of this dial is? What are your thoughts about it? I struggle with this dial color as to whether I will like long term. I may in fact check and see with some ADs out there to see what I would get if I traded towards the Seiko SLA071 Limited Edition Landmaster. Please leave a comment with your thoughts. Im going to make some calls tomorrow. My AD doesnt have the SLA071 in stock as he sold his one he had. I know of a couple ADs out there who take in trades and what I paid for this piece brand new from my AD, I maybe able to in fact get all my money back even still in trade. I think it's gorgeous but I'm definitely biased towards Seikos. I have over 40 watches and Seikos are my favorite. I'm weird. If I won a huge lottery, I'd still buy Seikos. I've never been into Rolex, AP or PP. I'd buy a ton of Seikos and wear them proudly.

@DiveWatcher Yes. I like that dial a lot. I think I'm Seiko biased because my earliest memories of a watch were my dad's Seiko Pepsi diver in the late 70's. He was a cop and didn't have a lot of money but wanted a quality watch. He had that watch for over 30 years and I really wish I would've asked him to keep it for me. I bought a Turtle Pepsi in remembrance of him. I love Seikos. The affordable, the " expensive" I love them all. I'll check out your videos. Thanks very much and I wish you and yours the best!!
@markmullen1852 man that was truly touching to hear that about your good father. I felt every word you said. That matters most out of any priced watch. Keep that Pepsi forever which I know you will. No one in my family cared about watches. I became captivated back in 2001. Been addicted to dive watches ever since! Man I commend you for sharing that about your father. I lost my younger brother then next I lost my mother. I've never been the same and it's going on 7 to 9 years now. I'll be 49 in October and man I miss my mom. Keep in touch brother. @DiveWatcher So truly sorry for you losses. RIP to them. Some days are really tough. I know exactly how hard it can be. I'm 49 as well. Lost my mom in 2011 and my dad in 2016. Growing up you never think about your parents passing. Then they do and a huge part of you is missing. Again, so very sorry for your losses.
Brother, same to you! You are right. At a certain age you go through life feeling you have immunity from everything and from it all. “Life is because polarities are. It’s just that simply” The entire first half of my life, I knew no pain. I was often told that I didn’t live in reality. I used to laugh about that and not arrogantly but rather as to say what are you talking about. Yes I do. Oh how right they all were. When tragedy strikes it doesn’t stop and you are right. Enduring immediate family losses in fact takes a part of you with them that is forever gone. A piece of thy heart that is forever missing. I know extremely well exactly how you feel and know exactly what you say. Man my thoughts go out to you. They truly do!
I think the colour way is definitely a blue graduation and looks very nice I hav a mm 300 sla 021 in black on a strapcode hexad bracelet and looks great and has taper and screw links ur watch is very nice though I hav subscribed like ur content 👍

I still am wanting either SLA023 or SLA021. I think however that I maybe about to go all in on my all time ultimate diver. My grail if you will. Either the SNR029 or SNR025. What do you think? Which of those two would you go for and or would I be crazy for going all in after one of those two? Lastly I am only thinking about it but I possibly may get the SLA075 again from my AD and just have both the SLA073 and the 075. To totally different looking dial colors. Plus I can swap the bracelet out between the two.
I thought the SLA073 at first was a US Exclusive but it's actually not. Only the SLA075 which I have is the US Exclusive. It has a black/Grey gradient dial and it comes on a black hershey bar rubber strap. The SLA073 which I have the 075 black rubber strap on in this Photo is how I typically wear it and I put the bracelet from the 073 on my US Exclusive SLA075.
