You sure get to see a lot of watches - nice! I think the dial shade is supposed to represent the color of the ocean as you go from the surface (light) to deep (dark blue).
my SO just got me this exact Seiko Turtle and I must say I'm very happy with it. Slapped a nato on it and it's surprisingly light for how chunky it looks.
Do you think the dial on these black save the oceans are darker than the ones on stainless steel models? Have the samurai version and its quite dark. When I see videos on the stainless still models they look a LOT brighter.
Because it's an inexpensive watch and most people don't care about sapphire. Plus, I think Seiko will sell more of these at $575 then they would at over $600.
@@kpro1890 how's it an inexpensive watch? And what makes you think people don't care about sapphire or the lack of? Seiko fanboys probably don't care about sapphire so il give you that, but for the rest of us it's an important feature. I think Seiko could bring a potato out and the fanboys would still fall over themselves to get it. I laugh at the reviews I see on here from RU-vidrs pleasuring the heards of fanboys
Ugh... there’s a big discount on a UK website in 2020 and I want to get one so bad but I’m saving for something unfortunately, can’t get one just yet... it’ll probably be gone before I can snag one.
Love your channel the most by the way - followed by Williams and watch wise (Grand Seiko Boutique Knightsbridge Manager’s channel) - so much more concise to the point and well presented than some of the clowns present (need I name them? )
I have the original StO seiko with silicon strap and stainless case - I think my version looks much more pleasing to the eye - I don’t think the dark case suits the dial - and yes, the dial is wonderful - absolutely
I prefer the stock bezel insert TBH....the aftermarket one is a single flat color vs. the more dynamic two tone original. Maybe on a different turtle, but not this one.
