Humanity failed when the arcades died. I bet people still would like to play in the arcades but paying money to play something that's cheaper to play at home is a too big of an obstacle now. And having something more exciting in arcade machines that's not available at home is hard when people don't want to pay and especially games that would look and play better than games at home is impossible. What sucks and what's odd about it is the arcades were popular at a time when people doubted if videogames would even catch on, and when videogames are more popular than ever the gamers are too stupid to see the value in modern arcade games.
So that really was Jason Alexander jumping out of the way of the truck, and not a stunt double? I picture several network executives, lawyers and Alexander's agent screaming bloody murder over that one.
@@MrParkerman6 It's convention in the US that white lines indicate the traffic on both sides is moving in the same direction, and yellow lines indicate opposite direction. Dashed means passing is permitted, and solid means do not cross this line for passing.
One of the stupid bad guys in the movie Fargo (the one who murdered the cop and chased down the people in the car which passed by and witnessed it) was in this episode. Took me years to finally recognize him. I knew he looked familiar somehow!
Peter Stormare? He has over 200 credits on IMDB. He's probably the best known Swedish actor who regularly works in English language film and TV. He has appeared in Armageddon, The Big Lebowski, Jurassic Park 2, Bad Boys II, Minority Report and Constantine.
Funny how they went through the trouble of doing the yellow lines seeing as there actually aren't any road lines in Frogger, white or yellow. Jerry must have misremembered.
No lines in Frogger, like a newly paved or surfaced street. Activision's Freeway for Atari 2600 has white lines between traffic going the same way and double yellow lines separating oncoming traffic.
I don't get the comment about the white lines vs yellow lines. There are no lines on the street in the Frogger game. Or they appear on much later levels and I just never made it that high?

(Starts hitting the machine with a crowbar, the machine suddenly becomes super-charged with power) Yes! Finally, now get that fly!
Wrong! The scores would NOT erase if the power was unplugged. Seinfeld got it wrong. Friends got it right when unplugging didn't erase Chandler's bad word intials.
alot of people comment on many of these videos about the neurotic tone that comes from Jerry, Jason, Michael, and Larry.........But, think about it....yes, it must absolutely true that those guys are very strange in real life. That's what makes them great at their on-camera life. Honestly, Julia seems to be the only one even close to normal in real life.
I just watched a video from a guy who has an arcade collection in his basement. The circuit boards have a place for a AA battery. Only problem is they might leak, so he was showing how he could hook up a battery to it, so that if it did leak, it would drip on the bottom of the cabinet and not the expensive circuit board.

Yeah, good story about Jerry. There are no lines in the Frogger game. Jerry is obviously one of those unbearable guys who needs to make his contribution.

Very weak episode. Normally Seinfeld is about real life, with huge embellishments, but nobody would ever try to cross like George to copy the Frogger...so a big fail for the series, unnecessary fantasy plot.
You think too much. It's not a big fail, as it's seen by most fans as one of the most fun episode. Not all of them has to be cerebral or relatively down to earth, the show could afford to be silly and over the top from time to time. It's one of the many things people love about Seinfeld, it takes you places other sitcoms wouldn't, and only George Costanza would be crazy enough to frogger his way into traffic just to feed his ego and keep one of his only life achievement intact. It's just a fun storyline.
That's what you are worried about? It's much more unrealistic that the truck would keep going and not stop, he could have been charged with attempted murder for not stopping in real life.
I think a lot of people can relate to George in this episode: with nothing noteworthy in your present, you desperately cling on to mediocre successes in your past. Holding on to your past is more relevant today than ever.
