Angie, your boyfriend is so sweet and helped you so well. During the seizure you had in the grocery store, the way he held you, stroked your arm and spoke soothingly was so wonderful. It made me say, awwww. It was a worse seizure than some you've had, but you sure came out of it quickly. I still pray for your seizure free healing every day.

As someone who's had seizures all my life I hope your neurologist figures out a medication/dosage to help you not have as many seizures. And I highly suggest you hang on to Cory. He's a jem. I don't think many people could keep level headed like he did with every seizure he helped you through.

It’s nice to have seizures around people who know how to relax and let the episode ride itself out. With most of my seizures I ended up going by ambulance to the hospital emergency room. Even when I let people know that I was about to seize most people became so frightened they called for help. As I have said before when I woke up in the emergency room it looked like it was my onlookers that needed the care. They found it scary to not be of help. Good luck in your care. Hope you have the good fortune I now have.

He’s so helpful and understanding my husband talks to me and rubs my neck/back til I start to come back. When he first experienced me having one I had a grand mal in my sleep and he had no clue what was happening to me. (Neither did I) then I got diagnosed and found out I’ve had it my whole life. He worries about me when he’s at work and I hate stressing him out. But he just wants to make sure I’m okay! I’m so happy Corey’s there for you and understands how it can be and that he can handle it

You are so blessed to have one another. What an awesome couple! I have 2 autoimmune diseases; MS (multiple sclerosis) and type 1 diabetes. I was diagnosed with MS at age 37 and type 1 when I was hospitalized with COVID in January 2021 at age 50. You never know what life may hand you or when. Just think positive and keep living. You are so very blessed to have kind, patient loved ones help you get through. My ex-husband was not supportive, and my seizures were more severe and lasted much longer. I live alone now which gives me much anxiety, but my medications, Keppra and Trokendi, help a lot. Good luck in your journey. ❤🙏🏻

You have been doing so much better with your seizures. You tend to get more while at that same grocery store lol. But Corey is right you must know what your getting yourself into before you get with someone and then just not want to be part of it and wasting time when there's someone out there that would love you so much no matter the issues that come with you. Corey I love how your there most of the times, at least Angie mom is able to not worry so much now that your around. Angie's mom is not going to be there forever, I'm sure they appreciate it so much that Angie found you and that your willing to be there for her every step of the way. When I have a seizure I always feel embarrassed more than anything. Like “not again!” :( I feel your struggle and after how everything just feels confusing and I hate that I have to be takin care of…. We will make it! And one day we will be seizure free! :)

My gosh Angelique , I don't have seizures but i have la maladie de meunière, my ears and I fall on the floor and I get so, so dazy oufff and sometimes I have too lay dawn 8 hrs .. only ativan helps me ...
