@@scaldarvonascalon5514 The second run feels easier because you are completely aware of all the mechanics and know where to go. But there are ways to bring the challenge back up. If you give Kuro's charm back, becomes an entirely different game.
@@MrSandman9151 what’s funny to me, is whenever I start a new game, I always forget where to go and have to trek through my brain to remember what I did.
I love how wonderfully cinematic the boss fights feel. Like all the cool shit other games show you in cutscenes that you can't actually do, but in Sekiro, you do all that cool shit on your own. It is just a perfect game.
I mean he's really good, but he's not like totally insane. You can find way crazier stuff out there. Once again, not saying this guy is bad, faaar from it
Attack power beyond 50 isnt all that beneficial. Going from 550 to smtn like 650 only. Up until 25 ap u get like +8 dmg and +4 until 50 whete it turns into +0.8
I can't describe this video with just words it's pure art and talent and most importantly this time cainfoe literally executed sword saint and he didn't jumped of the cliff
It's so satisfying to see that, with enough time, you _can_ become a boss in Sekiro and just obliterate any enemy with the right mix of skill and arts.
I love how hard gyobu once felt. Same with butterfly . Then Genichiro shows you how to play and the rest of the game has its difficult moments. Its as if every boss is a puzzle to crack but once you do you surpass them.
For real I thought about the same thing. Gyoubu was once a tough task and he killed me a few times on my first playthrough, I fought Butterfly really early so I thought she was quite hard. She killed me probably ten times. Then Genichiro killed me like 10 times as well but then I started to understand the combat. Gyoubu is sadly easy now and in NG+ you can basically walk him down with no regard and just batter him, I kinda wish he got enhanced in NG+ with an expanded move set. Lady Butterfly hasn’t killed me yet in NG+, I first try her every time, and I practically no-hit Genichiro. When you first start out they seem so difficult but once you learn their moves and learn the tricks and get good at deflecting it is amazing how much easier it is. I learned Genichiro’s moveset so now he’s very easy, but it seemed impossible at first. I know people who spent 20 hours on Genichiro, but then something clicks and you almost never die to him after that. It is an awesome game and the bosses are so well designed.
@@grimreefer213 yeah if you fighting butterfly before genichiro good luck. Maybe if I new game I'll try to beat butterfly as soon as I can just for fun. It's so funny after beating genichiro I got this rush of energy like I was super Saiyan and I went to butterfly who had shredded me time and again and I treated her like she was nothing. Dominated. It's such a good game in the sense that it imposes a style on you. Isshin really brings it full circle. The way it forces you to keep a pace.
@@corywittamori896 I absolutely love Sekiro. There’s something so beautiful about it, how every boss is a teacher, it is difficult at first because the game forces you to learn the mechanics and play in a specific way. Once you learn it then suddenly they go from a very difficult challenge to becoming relatively easy. Sword Saint Isshin tests you on everything you’ve learned, he’s difficult but it fits with the theme of Sekiro, it’s an amazing boss to cap off an amazing game. He took me two hours to beat him for the first time, but now I’m confident I can beat him on the first try every time. I think it is really good game design because he is mechanically difficult (not artificially difficult with BS moves), but it’s not unfair, so once you learn it then it becomes predictable and repeatable and is such a fun dance. I personally think Sword Saint is the greatest boss of all time. A lot of people will say Gael and they probably think Isshin is too hard. But I think he’s very well balanced and it’s a legendary fight. It’s also awesome how Genichiro is everyone’s teacher and he’s the pivotal moment for most players. He teaches you how to play and once you get passed him then the rest of the game becomes more surmountable. Sekiro is a work of art.
U get to 550 attack power when at 50 whilst at 99 it's only 650. Till 25 its like plus 8 attack power per level, then 4 until 50 then 0.8 till 99 at which it caps. And ofc each ng+ cycle until ng+7 enemies get beefier
@John D I have never heard anything more idiotic. A Katana and sabre look nothing alike, and the Chikage looks more like a Katana than a Sabre, the description even says it’s a Katana.
Using the mist raven to counter isshin’s lighting attacks just looks so damn cool, and I never knew you could use Phoenix umbrella to counter the rapid attacks of genichiro. Great video, amazing talent
I have to thank you Cainfoe, your strategies helped me best bosses faster and overcome the gauntlets. Subscribed🤝 also the spiral cloud passage shredss immortal monk, especially with divine confetti
This gives me the feeling of a OP anime dude who you just saw the first time in the show, who suddenly annihilates one of the strongest antagonist. "Sad boss noises"
I know it may be irrelevant, but after seeing Gyobou get wrecked so many times, I appreciate that From named his horse, Onikage is somehow the only living horse in this game lol
You're too good at this game, i would love to be fighting like that, i mastered most mechanics of this game like the arts and the parrying, finished it 5 times , platiniumed it, yet im not as good as you (wait you finished it 7 times in one save and the other saves too , so i guess i have to replay it as much as i can with the kuro charm)
It may be your hdr settings, but the difference in graphic quality between console and pc really sticks out to me in this video. Mad props for your skill! You are Masutā ninja!
I'm on Ng+6 and I gotta say: the ng+ plays in Sekiro are the easiest of all From games (Bloodborne is the hardest). I literally abuse the bosses in seconds unless I use no charm + bell.
I realized while watching this the switching between prosthetics, items and the perfect deflects isn’t the crazy part it’s his complete understanding of the boss move set and how to exploit it
Mesmerizing. Clearly so much time and effort spent learning then executing all of the attacks, deflects, weaknesses and much more. Beautiful gameplay, thank you. Subbed 👍
4:46 Casually walks away with his back turned to the boss, slicing his own neck with the Tanto and chewing some sugar while the boss goes ape in the background. What a legend!
Hopefully they will patch something for next gen consoles, even tho I mainly play on PC, I'd be nice to see how the game performs with a descent patch.
I feel bad for Isshin Ashina. The way he said "I am not done yet, Sekiro" and then died like 10 seconds later. :( i get the vibes of an old man who knows he is no longer in his prime yet he tries with all his might.
How were you able to use the Mortal Blade on Gyobu? I lose it from one playthrough to the next, and must recollect it. Isn't it the only combat art that you don't keep? You can use it on him in reflections or Gauntlets, but stats and stat scaling aren't affected by that. Each reflection version has preset stats.
Both are awesome! but I enjoy watching Cainfoe's style more because he improvises more often and doesnt take the fights seriously. Imagine these 2 doing PvP tho
I wanna try this myself too! So on PlayStation would it be hold R2 on the ground until the lightning hits you, THEN jump and tap R1 to channel it back? With tower Genichiro you would jump into the air to get hit by the lightning and then tap R1 to attack upon landing so is this kinda the opposite of that?
That sugar makes it harder to gauge the real value of attack power 99, because it literally increases your attack power by roughly 50%. Apparently base 99 attack power is a basic slash damage output of 578. That sugar roughly adds 289 to that base number.
