"My name is Gyoubu Masataka Oniwa and as I live you won't get past these gates" Sekiro: gets past those gates without fighting him Oniwa: *dies* a man of his word
@@SnaikHead there are certain rules like what framerate is allowed and etc, and this glitch bug is allowed in this particular rules well, i do really want to see that too tbh
Actually, I think it's just luck. The Hall of Illusions doesn't actually connect to any other areas, so the developers just stuck it somewhere where it wouldn't interfere with the rest of the game. The most optimal place to put it, therefore, is somewhere regular players can't see it: under all the other areas.
I just tried to swim through the water at fountainhead real fast without killing lightning guy with full vit upgrades and got fried. Don’t know how the fuck he did that.
Honestly, how does peoples find out where you can jump to bypass a wall and swim in the air. I can't even find the women that gives you a bell to get into past to fight lady Butterfly without watching a guide :-D
John Kramer they have an idea in their head of the perfectly “optimized” version of the run in their head (which is feasible because every section they nail perfect at least once) so when it goes a little off that, even for a loss of a few seconds, they take it as detrimental to the entire piece. It’s a flawed mentality and it would be nice if they could feel positive while playing the game at such a high level of skill, but alas they need to be critical of themselves in order to pull together such highly optimized runs.
Nah I agree, This guy cries in front of his viewers like a little baby, he still got the record so congrats for that, I just think he needs to grow some balls this is embarrassing.
@@nadaesimposible4770 I love all the Souls games but I hate Sekiro. Even worse I pre-ordered the guide book. Guess I'm a "git gud" video gamer who just can't take the Sekiro gameplay.
@@TheRmm1976 I feel ya. The combat was just not clicking for me. So I couldn't beat the mini boss type guys, so then I couldnt get prayer beads to get stronger. Since then ive watched some Let's Plays and kind of figured out a few things I was doing wrong, beat the 4 mini bosses I was struggling with and now I'm having a much better time of it. So its possible!
Am I the only one that would like to see an all bosses/generals/beads/memories speed run? Like what he would do in a souls game. I know this is a tenchu game, but I would still like to see him do it.
Ogre fight at 4:00, how come he goes for the stealth attack but every time I try this I always just end up normal attacking wtf? Been trying for the last hour.
lol I just picked the game up yesterday and I'm asking myself the same fking question... The more you try to reason with this the more fucked up it gets.
because he isn't killing any enemies really, so he's a super low "level" when he fights the boss. Because every time you get a skill point the XP to the next one increases.
9:45 any other game, the character dies from a jump like this, not this game, there is too much sh!t t do to die from a mere ultra exaggerated high drop.
Nathan Wilson once the bosses become unavailable due to changes in world states the beads can be bought at the offering box with sen. At least I think that’s what you’re talking about, I’m only about 13 minutes into the run currently so you could mean something else
Wow I'm a huge fan of this game and the souls speed runs but man, this run is not very good. Lots of incoherent clipping and abuse of AI for boss fights. I understand that the point of a speedrun is to get it done quickly and at any cost, but this run just isn't particularly fun to watch. I wonder how a glitchless/clipless version of the run would fare
@@wish I don't mean that this run in particular wasn't good, I mean the route is not good. Sekiro is one of the coolest looking games to come out in a long time, and traversal and movement system and the fast paced and dynamic combat are the reasoning for that. Air swimming and reducing boss fights to nothing but standing around and repeatedly doing the same attack gets rid of that. The air swimming is really the big thing, the AI stuff is what it is and unfortunately all souls games kinda have it
I’ve wondered this myself but I think it’s probably “all memories attainable in an all beads run.” I could absolutely be wrong tho so don’t take this as fact
Yeah pretty much everyone who plays Souls games/Soulslikes on PC uses a PS4 or Xbox controller, the controls are designed for it and having an analog stick for movement makes things much more precise.
@@satyasyasatyasya5746 i'll be honest too, he's pretty cute yeah :D but even tho if he would be single he would not accept any of us, we are just random weird people on the internet
@@palawolfy4855 true. and I don't think he checks these comments anyway, even if he did, who would honestly start chatting to a random internet person? but, I guess I was just wondering. Sometimes he seems kinda sad and the chat is so mean, I just wanna be nice to him ^^
@@satyasyasatyasya5746 he looks sad and depressed sometimes because hes trying to do these speed runs all the time but failing over and over again. And the chat is not really mean, its all just jokes
Sometimes he unlocks and looks to the side so the NPC doesn't know they need to deflect, it's called dead angling. Other times there are specific exploits to lock an enemy into only one attack (you can see both of these in the first Snake Eyes fight).
You don't fight emma and fire ishin on this run, instead you fight your father and complete the run... fighting emma and ishin is only possible with ashura (bad) ending and the game is over then.. you won't be able to go further and collect the rest of items.
