I love the Clone Combos that Genichiro does. It also beautifully shows how he's trying everything to win, even using trickery and illusions! I also like how the shadow combo is still more fair than Genichiro's unmodded Floating Passage combo 😂
I’m actually surprised he took damage, idk why he wouldn’t post a no hit fight. I can’t play as smooth as ongbal with how he uses combat arts, but I was able to no hit this mod. Took me a fat minute but ik ongbal could pull it off
@@rd2926yes he could've done it no hit but he prolly wanted it to be more cinematic with the variation in the ways he did lightning reversal, like from the normal one, to Sakura dance, to mist raven, to Sakura dance and then finally finishing with waterfowl
Man, these modders never failed to surpass my expectations.. Those clone combos in phase 2 were insane. Not just by spectacle but also from a design perspective, by having them follow a memorizable and avoidable pattern instead of randomly ganging up on you.
Adding difficulty through making you fight multiple targets at once has to be my least favorite design in souls-like games and other RPGs. It's just so lazy and uninteresting. If the game makes me fight an enemy I already fought, I always prefer when it's a "leveled up" version - new and different combos, not just multiple targets of the same thing.
I never played any souls like games in my life, but you sir, made me want to try sekiro. All I want to say is that this game has me hooked from the start. Today I completed the game for the first time after spending about one and a half hour of constant "Hesitation is Defeat" from the Glock Saint himself. I don't think any other game will make me feel like this again. Will start my second playthrough tomorrow and can't wait to see what other bosses this game has to offer. Thank you for this and may you live your life to the fullest. Always looking forward to you videos. Also this fight was absolutely bonkers. The flow of the fight was so beatiful to look at. I already know I'll be modding the shit out of this game after I'm done with all the endings and the gauntlet.
I remember when I was just a blooming flower like you. Got stuck in Ashina Estate by the random Interior Ministry guy at the pagoda. Now I've beaten the game three times and working my way through the mortal journey gauntlet. I believe in you.
@@masonwatts575 How many hours are you at? I'm past 500 by now. I don't play as much Sekiro as I used to, but the rush I get when I play modded Isshin is like no other.
@@masonwatts575 Oh 85 hours. That was like... around 400 hours of my life ago. I remember when I was playing around that time. This game seriously felt like a good book I didn't want to put down. Seriously. At that point, I don't think there was English voice lines so I just played with Japanese. Felt like one badass Japanese anime. The Japanese words for "Hesitation is defeat." and the Spanish words "For the glory of Ashina" are burned into my mind, this for my Mexican shinobi. Too fun. Didn't think when I bought this game that I'd join a cult following or "get good". I even made an alternative reality movie series on my channel for this game because I couldn't get enough of it.

honestly one of the most impressive things i’ve seen. the fact that modders can pull this off without being apart of a big studio is amazing. props to them and Ongbal 🙏
I like this, the moveset isn’t ridiculously over the top and just feels like a fun Genichiro + remix Edit: nvm, just saw phase 2 and that is such an insanely cool way to use the shadow clones lol
Hell yeah Ongbal.. one of the greats playing a legendary game. I know we probably at least have fun with other From games (playing Bloodborne rn) but Sekiro will ALWAYS be the first. Itll be my favorite game ever for the foreseeable future. Love you guys this community is awesome and the perfect size Edit: holy shit 😅 the other universe where he DID seize any heretical strength he could. So sick. At this point i believe modders are making these mods only to challenge Ongbal. Nobody even care about any kind of balance anymore. Everything just to beat this man
