As good as this is, there are better farms. Check out my farming playlist for all the best farming spots. I recorded most in Ng+2 so the xp is 3 times as much for me, but at your point in the game, they are still the best.
@@juzo3082 ahh ok. theres link to the full video under the title off this clip. But its in the 2nd Memory version of the Hirata Estate. You have to get the bell charm from emma to access it. keep talking to her and kuro when they're in the castle and complete their dialogue. Once you get it, take it to the statue next to the sculptor to use it and it will transport you to the 2nd version of the hirata estate. There's also a very hard secret boss here.
Already done a video on it. Ashina outskirts end game, work your way back from where demon of hatred is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xU9-bFCtgMQ.html
Deathblowing all the nightjars in the Ashina Castle antechamber, then jumping down, deathblowing one red guard and using mortal blade on the other gives about 25k xp in a shorter amount of time.
Me personally I always farm either the Senpou Temple starting area where there are like 15-20 monks or if you’re a little bit further in the game, I like to farm the entire first two bonfire areas in fountainhead. I do both with the items and sen balloons for extra items and money.
monks drop a lot of ako sugar too which is cool. yeah fountainhead has some good farm points. The one just before the bridge with the 2 old geezers and a lightning enemy is pretty good.
The best spot for exp is the staircase idol in ashina outskirts after beating divine dragon, there's 5 enemies you can back stab it's takes around 30 seconds each time
I'm just putting this here, but if your farming inside of fountainhead, what usually do is start from near pot noble idol (it's literally the name istg). There's 2 across the bridge, 1 down below, 1 on top of the building, across that building where you killed the guy on top over looking 2 more which is also where 2 more are patrolling down below. You can then decide to deathblow one of the purpleguys and overpower the other purple guy or bloodsmoke, either or. [Too broke for spirit emblems because Inner Isshin is a bitch and because OIL and FLAMES works on his ass and I didn't know and for 3 hours I went from 79 oils to 8 and 19/20 spirit emblems] There will then be three more guys, 1 patrolling, 1 kicking his balls, and another watching the view. IMO, it is optional to get the eel dogs, but that's like... I think 12 - 20 dogs are worth about 276? I'm not in NG+ yet, and I'm still working my way up. Anyway; approximately 11 more are still in the area. Find a way up, and there should be 2 ways, pot noble and more enemies. There's 2 across the bridge and 2 below that bridge. Behind the building is 4 enemies and 1 purple guy. I'm not really good at the game. This is just my take that I'm also very interested in giving my opinion :) Edit: TL:DR - Basically, 13.5k XP per run plus the 7 eel dogs. More if you goto feeding grounds
The antechamber one where you kill a ninja/samurai and refresh at the idol is i think the best farm with regards to risk and time. But it gets boring real fast.
Haha you said it. gets boring real fast. I did a full video on that same antechamber one for endgame. Its best if you kill the ninjas on the bottom floor atleast bcz they give the most xp.
Depends on what NG you are on, NG+4 took me 45 for 30 levels, to finish my skill tree. I specifically knew going into my platinum run it takes forever to get all skills, so I did 4 playthroughs of all the endings
@@Mattaiu That's what I did back in 2020. It's a horrible grind. These days, I'd just recommend starting playthrough 5, 6 and 7. NG+ can be done in 2 hours and running from boss to boss is way funnier than farming. Charmless increases the XP even more. Playthrough 8 is the cap though, so playthrough 9 will give the same amount. At this point it's all about 99 Attack Power though, the mask finally becomes a bit useful. And yet, I have seen people waste 5 skill points on 1 Attack Power during Playthrough 1 lol. Well, if they're never gonna get platinum there could be an argument for it. But 5 skill points becomes quite a big deal by the time you're about to finish the skill tree. Especially if you farm your way there.
That's very good but gets really boring lol I still agree antechamber is the one but I kill the ninjas in the other room too and on the ground floor where the ogre is, couple more ninjas. then use the homeward idol to respawn and repeat
ive been using outskirts valley - stairway, late game the place has 5 red guards, and you can stealth blow at least 4 of them and quickly taking out the last, netting you a little over 3k in the span of about 20 seconds
yeah that's a really good one for most of the game tbh. this ones good if you come to this area early, but if you come too late, there's better ones at end/late game
I usually run back from the flower idol in the divine realm to the previous idol, near where you meet the old lady talking about her father for the time, sometimes I'll do the area with all of the dogs too
At the begining of the game you can farm the 8 walking gaurds by jumping off the ledge and using grapple to get to the headless ghost spot quick. You get 6k per run and you can do 8-9 runs per minute. Making it 56k-62k per minute on first playthrough
That means nothing without a video, bro. 60k per minute would be decent even on playthrough 8. If you were correct, everybody would know about it, because you could get all skills in less than 1 hour on playthrough 1. And yet the platinum world record spent more than 1 hour on pure XP farm, on playthrough 4. 9 runs per minute means that whatever you do to get 6k, you do it AND get back to an idol AND rest in less than 7 seconds. I can think of Antechamber, where that might be a thing. But that ninja doesn't give 6k before charmless playthrough 5. And on that spot, you want the Ogre to kill 2 red guards every run too. Just like the platinum world record did.
A even better one. But its endgame before you fight isshin. Go to the antechamber and kill all the ninjas. Then drop down and hook onto the lil wood plank. Hopefully you dident kill the other chanined ogre cuz he gon kill 2 red hat enemies for you and gets you 5000 xp for both killed
I know. it's still a top farm on first game based on your current level. But by end game, you need too much xp for the later skills. So it's better to get to ng+2 to get 100% skills bcz xp scales up like this.
@Tr1t0n. Haha. Im telling you. just speed run a ng+ and do shura ending. it ends after owl fight. then your in ng+2 in no time! and you'll get loads of xp along way. speed running makes it kinda fun too.
the best XP farm ive noticed , atleast before beating genichiro, is at the mibu village bonfire. at the end of the stream, is a ninja guy with poison fist. he gives nearly 800XP , or he does with demon bell active. you can kill him 3x with a single gachiin candy, which means 2400XP/gachiin spell/candy. he drops every kill too. you 100% want that gachiin on though, as fighting him legit kills the speed. you CAN drop kill him from the ledge, but its best to drop off and crouch walk up to him , as to not alert the dog above.
the 2 best places are probably in the early game if you go to that one zomibe village early on before the ghost monk and farm near that river and one shot everything oe 2 shot .. later the best place in geneal is running from the bridge to ashina castle all the way back to the dilapidated temple but ofcourse at the late game, u can make it that far as its cut off and teleports u to that fire demon . close 2nd to that is just fighting all the annoying guys on top of that palace mountain that throw lighting but they take longer to kill so probably dont do that
It's a memory that your seeing from the past and It's burning because Owl, along with lady butterfly, lead all the bad guys here to attack the estate to kidnap Kuro because of his resurrective power.
@@strictly_fades It's in the Fountainhead palace. Specifically it is the second last area in the game (if you don't choose the Shura ending). Are you back at Ashina castle after retrieving the white lotus?
@@arghyadeepchatterjee6100 I just killed the corrupted monk when I last played and got the underwater ability, from what I’ve heard after you kill genrhico or whatever his name is with the lighting that you have to delect, there’s 3 more areas to do which doesn’t matter the order, I’ve done the sucken place and just got the shelter stone, and I already got the white flower from senpou, just need to do the third and last place I think
@@strictly_fades Now go back to Ashina castle and meet with your father and choose the correct speech option. After that, you'll get to go to the fountainhead palace. His name is Genichiro by the way. In all of Asian culture, from India to Japan, our names are very important to us and all of our names mean something specific, be it from our literature, history or mythology. So it would be very rude to say to any Asian that you cannot really pronounc their name refering to it as "whatever". It's really not that hard to try to pronounce Gen-Ichiro and learn something about the culture while playing the games. That's why they are so meticulously made.
I farm the interior ministry assassins and the samurai’s that are in the Ashina castle at the end of the game then I jump down and kill the two red guys and exit out the back to kill the big spear guy and repeat
I mostly get all my emblems back by the end of the run, and the bonus is bcz although you're farming for xp, you'll end up with a lot of gold anyway so you can just buy emblems and you'll end up with more than you started with.
Agreed. I think short term farming, maybe just to get a particular skill or combat art is reasonable though. but otherwise I agree with you. You probably wont even need to farm if you 100% it naturally.
Nope. It's in ashina castle at the end of the game. You sneal attack the purple assassin, jump down to the orge, grabling hook to get onto the wooden bar, and let the orge kill the 2 red warriors. When landing on the wooden bar, wait 1 or 2 secs and use the idol. Only works if you didnt killed that orge yet.
🫡 Indeed. ng+2 (3rd play) that's when i went for my platinum, and it's also when the xp scales up the best. best time to go for 100% skills. takes way too long in 1st game.
Honestly, my facourite way to farm was literally just doing ng+ andjust killing the bosses, as they give lots and lots of exp. Its good if youre trying to 100% sekiro and you need all the endings.
Bro the best one I found is at the forest idol where you go backwards, grapple, backshot first guy, then kill second guy but bloodsmoke might work I haven’t tried (it only gives 1240 on base ng)
yeah. i agree with that. if you get here early, its good, but as its a secret area, ppl might come here later, at which point, it'll be more worth it to do the end game farms like in ashina castle or the outskirts stairs
the easiest i found till now is the second bonfire in the gunfort simply walk out the cave backstab the guy at the entrance run back to the bonfire and repeat he only gives 300 per kill but since it only takes seconds its very easy to level up here fast
Have you tried the guy just down the river from the mini village idol? Takes a few seconds longer but yields 784 or 786. Also if you have ashina castle overrun, the antechamber has a samurai that yields 79 and a purple guy that yields 686 that’s quicker than the mini village
In my opinion, you shouldnt xp farm in this game at all, its all a distraction from just learning to deflect everything. (As someone who beat ng+5 and got all the endings). You can play however you want at the end of the day, but your not making the game any easier for you if you have all skills unlocked or just the basic ones. It really doesnt make that much of a difference. If you want to make it easy for yourself make sure you haven't skipped any prayer beads and gourd seeds, that's all.
yeah you can go back. just bare in mind I did it in ng+2 so I got more xp than normal bcz it scales up. but its still probably the best late game farm (not including end game farms)
Yeah alternate. Keep talking to emma and kuro when they're in ashina castle. Its a little mini side quest. you might need to progress the game a little further and get a couple main items.. But you need to do this bit before you beat the main boss in the fountain area. otherwise you'll have to wait till ng+. emma gives you a 2nd bell item, which takes you to the 2nd version estate.
by the end of the run i have 7 left. bcz you get some back from killing enemies. and you get so much sen doing this farm that you can just buy more and still have more sen spare
Your right. you farm for skills. You have to level up yourself rather than levelling up sekiro in game. You only get stronger when you beat main bosses, meaning you have to get good to get stronger. It's why so many people struggle at first.
In the beginning of the vid, you say "rat specter" method? Just wondering cuz I cant quite figure out what youre saying. Could someone clarify? Also, what is it? I dont really use abusable mechanics btw so no worries about me using it when yoy cautioned against it. Edit: Oh. "Red" specter. Got it.
It's the 2nd version of Hirata estate. Look up the 'purification ending'. Once you beat the divine dragon, you can't get there if you didn't get the 2nd bell. You needed to keep speaking to Emma and Kuro at Ashina castle.. eventually Emma will give you a 2nd bell, which will take you to a different version of Hirata estate. This is where you fight Owl Father (2nd and harder version). You'll have to do it in your next playthrough now if you've beat the divine dragon.
2nd memory of hirata estate. look up purification ending. You need to get through some dialogue with emma and kuro before beating divine dragon. emma gives another item to take you to the alternate version of the estate
Dude I used to hate souls like games. I tried bloodborne when it was free and I hated it. Tried dark souls 3 and hated it. Tried Elden ring and hated it. I was searching for a new game and Elden ring was sitting there untouched for 2 years…. I had heard about how much gameplay was inside the game. And I wanted it. I told myself set a timer for 5 hours. Just get through the beginning and have an honest try. Anyways long story short I stoped the timer at 4 hours and played 260 hours beat the game 1 and half times and just bought sekiro. I’m in love with the difficulty, the art, the way you have to find the side quests, the boss fights! It’s all a cavalcade of booty Cheek clapping your ass but damn is it satisfying getting past a boss that took you (hate to say it) a couple of nights. Malakith took me over 175 tries. I know this because I made 200 blood greases to fight him. I used one every battle. But I had already spent 3-4 hours fighting him before I made them. So most likely 300 god damn tries. And I loved every attempt.
Wow that's a lot of tries. but i get it man. nothing more satisfying than beating the bosses after getting good and learning their moves. Sekiro forces players to get good literally. You can't just go to a different area and get OP and then come back like in elden ring.. no summons to help.. Just pure skill needed to beat sekiro. I started with bloodborne so i understand you 💀 also hated it. so confused what i was doing and why it was soo damn hard. but i've gone back since and actually love it now lol
I dont get xp farms, i mean ig if you want to stay on the first run through and never venture into ng+ but in all realness Sekiros the last game you actually need to farm in
lol. ya. It's because I recorded it on new game +2 where xp scales up loads. best time to get 100% skills. That said, it's still an awesome farm whatever playthrough you're on.
Yeah, 2nd hirata estate version. There's a dialogue type side quest you gotta do with emma and kuro in the castle. Emma gives you an item that takes you to the 2nd version of the estate. If you get here early, its good, but by end game, there's a couple way better farms.
people always love to farm. they can't help it. tbf, you only power up in strength when you beat bosses so you won't be over levelled. but the skill points would just give people access to some better skills a bit sooner, which i guess helps
I did it in new game +2. XP scales up nearly 3 times as much at this point. for now its a good farm based on your current skill level, so just get the skills you want. but when you want to go for 100%, don't waste your time in first game, it will take way too long.
the ninjas on the roof? this is the 2nd visit to hirata Estate. You get a second necklace and then the estate changes slightly. it's where you fight owl father.
@@juicybossfights really bro , i am in the final battle vs ishine (the one which pops from the genechrio) and I don;t see any these guys in hirata state and I haven;t fighted with owl father I mean hirata state owl but had fight against owl in ashina
ahh damn bro. You missed it. After the divine dragon boss you cant go back. But the game has 4 endings, so if your going for 100% your gna have to play it again anyway. Owl Father was a hard piece of 💩 too lol
I got more bcz I'm in ng+2. it scales up a lot in next games. It takes too long to get 100% skills in first game, so do enough for the skills you want for now. it should give you plenty for your current level.
while your running straight, keep running straight and jump towards the wall infront of you and wall jump directly up and keep hold of your ledge hang button to get on the roof. full video is linked under the title. its about 35 seconds into the video.
Is this better than antechamber xp per hour?? If so Imm be pissed cause man did I spend too many hours in antechamber! I got achievement for all skils already but if I didn’t I’d use this!
haha nah your good. ante chamber is better. if you get go the estate 2nd visit pretty quick.. its a great farm. but towards end game. either antechamber or outskirts stairs are the best
