your first phase cheese, it's literally faster to just fight her normally with perfect parries. your second phase cheese, it's literally faster to jump up on the tree after she phases away and deathblow her immedieately. your third phase cheese, was literally the funniest thing I've ever seen out of this video game. Well Done
A little tip: If your near end first phase, eat the red donut and spam R1 in the second phase. With a bit luck, the mortality is already severed there. It was the case on my run.
i used this with yakshiraku sugar (headless ver) and mortal draw, killed the first phase and attacked during the second phase start up, and was quite shook to find the entire fight had just technically ended and yes i did get the immortality severed on screen as well as the memory
I wish I would've seen this back in early November. I just picked the game back up last night, and beat him/her/it in 3 tries. It wasn't super easy, but it was barely an inconvenience.
in the second phase when she does her illusions grapple on top of the branch from the bridge, her illusions will stop and you can jump on her to deathblow her a second time, for the third phase use ceremonial tanto for spirit emblems and use fistful of ash and firecrackers to stun her and hit her 3 times keep doing this till she dies, easy :)
the cheese does still work but i could only get it to work every once in a while it took me longer to set up the cheese than expected in the end i just beat him the regular way
@@kakashi710 Oh yeah… it sucks if she gets herself unstuck midway through! Just gotta keep pelting her with the Fistful of Ash. If the timing’s off, she’ll teleport herself right out of there.
jan/22 - V 1.06 - weird. each race the game behaves differently. missing a little to finish with the first red ball. I used red ako and divine confetti. I left it ready to throw the ashes and use the firecrackers, but when I went to end up with the first red ball... it bugged and already entered the daniel san mode. anyway, thanks for the tip.
That’s about how I started to feel. Like, I just came off of one boss that took me 3 days to beat, I barely did anything, & now I’m already at another ridiculously hard boss. And if I go this other way, there’s another one. If they would’ve been spaced out with more to do in between, I might not have minded so much, but I was just trying to get through them by any means necessary towards the end of the game. Figured if I wanted to try the fight fair & square, there’s always the Battle Memories & NG+
Wow One this doesn't really work too well. After trying this 20 times or so. I got the fuck in the magical spot by the tree. With me he was hanging half off the cliff. After hitting him the regular sword attacks he disappeared. Pop a trophy saying you killed him. All on the first thing because the game glitched out. Thanks
this is such an easy boss...dunno why there's a need to cheese her...Orin is much much more difficult than the Monk...the Monk's attacks can be evaded if you don't like deflecting...she's like the Dancer in DS3...you need to "dance" and swing with her moves..
