By our estimates, we expect to leave Early Access in late 2026.”" Nope you are wrong its another "episode 1 out in early access", its just that each episode is gonna be very long.

Yeah I'm hesitant to call this a boomer-shooter. This takes more influences from the slower design of early 2000's games rather than 90's. People will jump to that because of the doom engine. Regardless It's an awesome campaign game.

also i agree with you on ghost of weebishuma, the game has outdated graphics if everything, when i first saw it i thought it was a AA game not a sony exclusive. Cool wind effects but the rest looked outdated back then, this is why i dont agree that the pc port is well optimized, for high end 2018 hardware and low to mid range 2020 hardware? Sure, but its a ps4 game, obviously it will run better on newer systems, but for systems that were able to run ps4 games just fine, it runs horribly. Its like alan wake 2 that basically is unplayable on gtx cards but that is a next gen game. So long story short they optimized for high end 2018 and mid range 2020 systems. The idea of making a john woo/fear style game with destruction and particle effects flying everywhere in gzdoom is the stupidest idea ever, but somehow, they made it work, they must be using black magic or something. This does not look like gzdoom at all, i dont have the game yet, i am busy with other stuff right now, but have you tried using a bullet time mod for gzdoom, to see if it works with the game? If its gzdoom, it should work. so the game is sci fi, doom 3, fear 2, powerful weapons gore, destructible props, large nonlinear levels, hub system upgrades resident evil safe rooms, cute main character and cute icons , doom 3 pda interfaces and bathrooms with only 2 genders, I like all of those things, hopefully episode 2 will take place on a different environment.
